Several Broadway musicals, including 2017 Best Musical Tony winner Dear Evan Hansen, will perform during The 91st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will be broadcast on NBC November 23 beginning at 9 AM ET.

The parade, which continues until noon, will be hosted by Today Show's Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker. Telemundo will simulcast the Parade in Spanish with the event hosted by stars Carlos Ponce, Jessica Carrillo, and Karim Mendiburu.

On 34th Street, Broadway shows will perform in front of Macy's flagship. In addition to Dear Evan Hansen, shows scheduled to entertain include Anastasia, Once On This Island, and SpongeBob SquarePants, The Broadway Musical as well as the Radio City Rockettes.

Also set to perform on Macy's signature floating stages are 98 Degrees, Lauren Alaina, Cam, Sabrina Carpenter, Andra Day & Common, Sara Evans, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Flo Rida, Goo Goo Dolls, Kat Graham, Andy Grammer, Angelica Hale, Olivia Holt, Nicky Jam, Wyclef Jean, Bravo's Top Chef stars Padma Lakshmi and Tom Colicchio, Dustin Lynch, Miss America 2018 Cara Mund, Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr., and the cast and Muppets of Sesame Street, Bebe Rexha, Smokey Robinson, Jojo Siwa, and more.

"For more than 90 years, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has signaled the start of the holiday season for millions of families. We are thrilled to once again come together as a nation to give this gift of joy and wonder to all," said Susan Tercero, group vice-president of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, in a statement. "Our incredible team has planned a fantastic spectacle featuring an amazing line-up of giant character balloons, floats of fantasy, the nation's best marching bands and performance groups, a dazzling array of musical artists, all coming together to herald the arrival of the one-and-only Santa Claus."

The 91st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will begin at 9 AM from 77th Street and Central Park West. The procession will march to Columbus Circle, turn onto Central Park South, and march down Sixth Avenue/Avenue of the Americas. At 34th Street, the Parade will make its final turn west and end at Seventh Avenue in front of Macy's Herald Square.

Still no word on if Ben Platt or Taylor Trensch will perform as Evan Hansen during the parade, seeing as Ben Platt will depart from the role of Evan Hansen on November 19th. I'll update the OP when we get news on that front. And before you ask, yes, there's an actual SpongeBob musical on Broadway.
