Yeah all the info in that synopsis has been known but I'm really curious to see how this purgatory area you get transported to works, it sounds very interesting. I wonder if kojima is going mythical or more "scientific" on this one or both!

Also, I wonder if gear and protection against environmental hazards is going to be a mechanic in the game. I'm assuming time fall can age you to death so I wonder if theirs going to be any other things we'll have to watch out for besides monsters. Some of the environments in that last trailer looked pretty dangerous

For some reason it just occurred to me that these 'enemies' are similar in concept to Doctor Who's Weeping Angels. There is probably more to it, but it seems like being caught by them transports you to another point in time or alternate timeline.

It's hard to really gather concrete information from all of this, but damn am I pumped to figure out what the hell is going on in this game.

The question is: what happens if the player never dies? the game is focusing on multiple deaths and going back and forht between both worlds tos ee the impact of your deaths hence the name Death Stranding. I hope Kojima is aware of this and prepared a good experience for the skileld players that will neevr die so they can fully profit from the game and not just force some deaths through the sceanrio to show his vision.

What I find so interesting about this project is that going off all of the location scouting tweets and the hidden paintings in PT, this game has been in some sort of pre-production since Kojima was at Konami. That's such a long time for an idea to gestate that I find it hard to believe this game can be anything other than his magnum opus. I'm so excited for it.

I remember being cold on the recent e3 trailer, but it really is something beautiful now that I've had time to reflect and watch it again.

Kojima has been a game dev since the 80s. He has a proven track record. It's exciting seeing what he can finally do outside of Metal Gear and Konami
