Unfortunately thought not universally. Plenty of games have somewhat diminished user reviews because of stupid 0/10 or 1/10 reviews. Just because it's not mass scale doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed.

So what ends up happening is that they come in and delete all the lower review scores, yet keep the 10/10 Kojima is God scores. Giving the game an absurdly high user score.

They should really lock out user reviews until after a few days the game come's out.

The only user reviews worth anything are verified purchased + playtime. If they don't have either of these you 10/10 or 0/10 are worthless.

0 because of some childish reason, usually from people who haven't even touched the game
10 because of blind fanboyism, usually from people who will tear others apart for any legitimate criticism of said game
