Not this again, this game isn't a walking simulator. Did you read Digital Foundry's John's post on why it isn't one?
It is an interesting idea though. Especially with what it's about.
Fire Emblem Three Houses baby.Screenshot me on this...
Resi 2 isn't winning GOTY
Seki isn't winning GOTY
DMCV isnt winning GOTY
Death Stranding isn't winning GOTY
Jedi or some Nintendo game will sneak it UNLESS I'm forgetting something
Because you're projecting that onto them? That wasn't my impression from the video or Beastcast.
while i liked it, from my experience it felt too much like "budget fallout".

Watched the Easy Allies and IGN reviews gutted about the gameplay loop was right to cancel my pre-order after viewing the TGS footage. Looks beautiful though but the idea of being a delivery guy doesn't appeal at full price. One of things that tired me out with RDR was all the travel needed, it seems DS would need allot of time invested in that area.
Everybody should know that if you want cool games trying fresh new things, being experimental, creative and artsy, high concept and cutting-edge, the indie game scene has been providing those games on the regular for over a decade now. I can't take anyone saying so about DS and Kojima seriously, while at best they're using his popularity and platform to make it to the mainstream. But it's been there all long indeed, except without the ultra HD 4k graphics.
Because it's not a combat game?
Honestly, people's reactions to this game are so frustrating. There are lots of games out there where you navigate an open world and shoot people. This isn't one of them.
I've read kotaku and polygon to know it isNot this again, this game isn't a walking simulator. Did you read Digital Foundry's John's post on why it isn't one?
Maybe both of you have internet problems? I always played 1vs1 with no lag but now even 4 player works for me with no lag
As Tim Rogers said "it is the Gran Turismo of walking simulators".? it IS a walking simulator, in the most literal sense. Most of the game mechanics are tied to traversing and overcoming obstacles.
Pretty sure this is sarcasm, but it's like 4am right now and i'm still tired AF.Some reviews are embarassing. The fact that journalists and people want that all games have be "fun to play" is what keep videogames a second tier medium. Basically they want the videogame to be always a toy in the hands of a child.
It's trending upwards on opencritic (86 now), so I don't think meta will go from 84 that it is now down to 80.Looks like a very polarising game. 84 on metacritic and will probably settle on 80 which is decent. But it's not a regular 80. It's a game you'll probably give 1/10 or 10/10. I like the look of it so I'm probably in the latter. Not out for a few days so I'm not sure if I'll get it day 1 yet or in a December sale.
No, I dont have internet problems. The netcode is crap and thats pretty much the consensusMaybe both of you have internet problems? I always played 1vs1 with no lag but now even 4 player works for me with no lag

I would like something similar to Boktai again from him, love that game.I hope next game from Kojima is on more limited budget and without Hollywood gallery.
G to sleep then, you will understand in the morning.Pretty sure this is sarcasm, but it's like 4am right now and i'm still tired AF.
If the story is awful and the combat is awful... why would you keep playing? oh yeah it looks pretty..Some reviews are embarassing. The fact that journalists and people want that all games have be "fun to play" is what keep videogames a second tier medium. Basically they want the videogame to be always a toy in the hands of a child.
Who gets the credit for that then though? If the exciting part is more production value and placement, it sounds like the credit is belonging to Sony for paying the cheque rather than the game itself.Death Stranding doing it in the very safe AAA space is what makes it stand out and unique.
Why waste your time trying to convince someone that comes in this thread to post that? Not this again, this game isn't a walking simulator. Did you read Digital Foundry's John's post on why it isn't one?
Wonder why I play without lag thenNo, I dont have internet problems. The netcode is crap and thats pretty much the consensus
Umm ok?Luigi's Mansion 3 is higher rated than the super-hyped Kojima fever dream.
I love it.
