Looking forward to playing this next year. I'm planning on updating my PC by the time Cyberpunk (and by extension, this) come out.

Or Paradox with Bloodlines etc.... or is the narrative that EGS doesn't have "leverage" with CK3 being on Steam only?

Epic has shown multiple times that they mainly want exclusive games with their storefront, denying small developers they've reached out to who said no to exclusivity but were willing to release on both Steam and EGS. They are willing to make exceptions, mainly with large games like this. This could also be brought up with Borderlands 3 only having six months of exclusivity.

KojiPro have their agreement with 505 whatever discussions took place between them and other vendors has nothing to do with leverage and everything to do with their agreement and business decisions. Although it sounds like the price went up on EGS? I thought they tended to actually have cheaper prices than Steam in some places.

im extremely happy that big games such as death stranding and star wars jedi fallen order are coming to steam but holy hell isnt their regional pricing ridiculous with their prices for standard editions being 80 usd and 72 usd respectively, they have to fix their prices!
Great Steam pricing in Argentina: AR $2699, roughly US $42. EGS still US $72 down here.

Neither Steam nor Epic force DRM on their store, I would guess the game will have Denuvo, because I have 0 trust on 505.
LMFAO, epic store has it twice the price as steam in argentina, 72 dollars, plus in december here inflation will explode and the dollar will skyrocket making it much more expensive.

Who comes up with these prices? A physical PS4 copy is literally $30 cheaper on day one; you'll be able to get it for like $20 by the time the PC version actually comes out.

The price was updated to US$44.99 on EGS, bringing it closer/equal to Steam. Guess this was the intended price from the beginning for the region/country.
