i apologize, i shouldve clarified, i didnt mean it in a joke, just speculation. I was part of IGN's boards (forums) years ago and i know they would plan stuff out like this sometimes, just to stick it to the actual staff. I didnt like the game, but everyone likes what they likes and are free to vote for what they want to, you know? Just wondering if some troll votes actually made it in. I know obviously we cant get that answer, but its just speculation.

Congrats to Death STranding and Kojima on this. While i didn't like DS, I hope this is a blueprint (in a sense) that will continue to improve for future titles

Im saying that Kojima is a detriment to the project, and that its impressive that the staff was able to make something out of the mishmash of ideas. Getting on any list should be an accomplishment for DS.

Real talk: Both Control and Death Stranding are games from this year with enough fascinating and creative, plot points and beats, insane moments, and enough amazing experiences along the way that I will never forget either of them. If you haven't played both, you're doing 2019 wrong.

Sekiro is my personal GOTY, but Death Stranding is not far behind. Glad to know so many others are enjoying the game as much as I am!

Glad IGN patched this up. DS is easily my GoTY and also easily lands on my GoTG list.

It's a special game that I'm still thinking about weeks after finishing it.
