couldn't find any second choice stats but here are the favorables for the candidates from this poll

"Sanders (71 percent favorable, 25 percent unfavorable) and Warren (71 percent favorable, 23 percent unfavorable) had the highest favorability among the candidates. They were followed by Biden (68 percent favorable, 28 percent unfavorable), Steyer (64 percent favorable, 23 percent unfavorable), Klobuchar (62 percent favorable, 17 percent unfavorable) and Buttigieg (59 percent favorable, 25 percent unfavorable)"

Sanders holds lead heading into Nevada’s Democratic caucuses, poll finds

The Vermont senator leads the field by a solid margin among likely Democratic caucusgoers going into the four-day early voting period, a Review-Journal poll shows.
Glad to see how likable most of them are already viewed.

NV polls/NV in general is very messy and anything can happen but this is surprising.

From the poll posted today, 68% are over 45.

I mean, this is horrible, but also "worst group in either party by far." There are literal Nazi's in the other party. This guy, alongside Chuck Todd, are moderating the next debate.

I hope the debate starts with Bernie calling them out for this garbage. Set the tone early and try and curb the bullshit people like Chuck Todd can do because as of right now I can't expect them to be fair during the debates.

Edit - To be specific I hope he brings the quotes Chuck repeated on air about his fans, comparing them to Nazis while Bernie himself is a Jewish person who from my knowledge had a lot of his family wiped out during the Holocaust.

The moment Chuck Todd asks a question to Bernie regarding his followers Sanders should slam him with that bullshit quote he felt needed to be shared on air.

So, it also occurred to me again that a not entirely out of the question scenario of a contested convention is a Bernie-Bloomberg ticket. Which, I'm conflicted about. VP Bloomberg means infinite campaign money. On the other hand, it would be terrible for a whole slew of reasons.

Biden totally assumed momentum and media coverage wouldn't affect his "strongholds" and "firewalls".
What sunk Biden was Bloomberg. If Bloomer didn't eat his votes he'd still be hovering that 27% national line. It's sorta what happened between Warren and Pete.

There's zero chance this happens. Zero. If you are going to have a moderate on the ticket it will be someone younger, with experience, and less baggage. Bloomberg is just antithetical to everything the Sanders movement stands for.

The thing with a contested conventions is that it requires all candidates to get concessions. Bernie might not have a choice. And if there's anything I trust about Bloomberg, it's his vanity. He'd at minimum want VP out of it. I wouldn't put it past him to threaten to go third party otherwise.

It bothers me that Bloomberg is getting so much support on the Dem side because I am a big believer of getting the money out of politics and he is not only buying advertising but buying the media. Not even including some of the awful things he has said / done.

Surprised to see Steyer over Pete and Klob here

I live in Las Vegas. It would be extremely easy for a Nevadan to think Tom Steyer is the ONLY person running for president this year. For weeks, there were literally no ads for any other candidate except Tom Steyer. Billboards, TV ads, radio ads, internet banner ads. It's a goddamn plague.

Recently, there have been some Bloomberg ads as well, but it's still almost all Steyer. He's even been texting me recently, and I don't get texts from anyone. No idea how he got my number.

If Bloomberg really is below 10%, it may not stop his ads but I think the part of the conversation where people talk about if he can win or not wont go in his favor similarly to how its gone for Biden. At one point or another Bloomberg will have to be offiicially a part of the race and therefore will be subject to the same tests.

Bloomberg isn't running in Nevada.

Bloomberg isn't on any ballots until South Carolina, where currently he's at like 4% (thankfully).

Nevada is certified Bloomberg-Free™.

Edit: Apparently he's not on SC either, nevermind.

Bernie would never concede to winning if it meant a Bloomberg VP. And if theyre going to deny him the nom if he has a plurality over a bloomberg VP theyre going to lose the election no matter who they pick. If it gets to the convention and Bernie is out front of the pack they essentially have to play ball or concede the race. Thats my concern about the convention. Because I'm not sure I want the answer to what they would do there.

I think Bernie would end up taking Bloomer as VP. If Bloomberg actually did run third party it would guarantee Trump wins.

While LBJ and Richard Daley did angle for Humphrey to take the convention, which did result in riots, Humphrey was the candidate with the plurality of delegates at the time, so it's not a 1:1 comparison here. Also Kennedy was assassinated during the primary so that created a mess with the delegates he had been allotted. Knowing this, why would the Democratic party not pick Sanders if he had a plurality of delegates? They know this would blow up the party.
Okay, so my memory of whatever I'd heard about that event was pretty much backwards. Hahaha. Carry on.

I don't see it and obviously hope he would never accept that.
If the choice is between Bloomer in a useless spot and guaranteeing Trump re-election, I think the choice is pretty clear.

That being said I reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyy hope it doesn't get to that (contested convention with Bloomer in second). Hoping he gets eaten alive in debates.

Sanders Calls for End of Online Attacks, Calls Harassment 'Unacceptable'

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders called for his supporters to end their harassment of the Nevada Culinary Workers Union after the union warned its members against Sanders' Medicare for All plan. "We can certainly disagree on issues," Sanders said, "but we must do it in a respectful manner."

'"Harassment of all forms is unacceptable to me, and we urge supporters of all campaigns not to engage in bullying or ugly personal attacks," Sanders said in a statement.

"Anybody making personal attacks against anybody else in my name is not part of our movement," Sanders said. "We don't want them. And I'm not so sure, to be honest with you, that they are necessarily part of our movement."'

There, he's said it for the 500th time. Does that please you all yet?
Lol nothing Bernie can ever say will stop the daily rehash or the 'Bernie Bros'(formally known as 'Obama Boys') narrative.

Nevada is horrible to poll. Lol, I've been wanting to see more Nevada polls....but I also don't because of how notoriously bad they are.

i don't think sanders being ancient as fuck is a reason not to vote for him, but it is a reason for him to pick a vp that is at least somewhat aligned with his views.

I'm honestly curious how all the pundits will start treating Bernie once he's the nominee.

Like, will all these haters, rivals, and antagonists suddenly about face and treat Bernie like the next President? Or will they continue to throw him shade and start rooting for Trump?

Considering the self-serving nature of for-profit media, they would side with whoever is safer for their bottom-line.

The way it's going, with a decent number of people unmasking, they'll still fight the Dem nominee if it's Sanders.

Trump, like it or not, uses the mechanisms of the system to support the system. Perhaps he makes it look ugly, but deep down, it is.

I would be fine with Sanders / Klob tbh. She's not perfect but she has some good views. I'd prefer Warren and AOC remain in Senate/Congress

If Bernie has the lock before the convention I'd say he should go for the most progressive VP he can in a Warren or Baldwin in the unfortunate but possible scenario he dies during his term.

If Bernie does not have 1990 delegates, he should probably pick a moderate like Klobuchar to woo delegates.

Media gets most angry whenever trump goes after the media as it is. When it is just bigoted domestic policy they just say TRUMP BAD. When it comes time to talk about economic domestic policy, it's all hands on deck. Watch commercials on networks and see who they don't want to anger.

I'm fairly certain Sanders knows how to handle people calling him "Socialist!" without issue. He's had practice lol.

My slightly crazy, slightly serious concern:

Assassination attempts on a hypothetical President Sanders. Even at inauguration.

Yes, I am that paranoid.

There's a good chance that they will bend the knee. They have to worry about access all the time, so the anti-Bernie rhetoric will at least soften.
On the other hand, Bernie is going to be taxing them more so maybe having a Fascist in office for 4 more years might be their preferred alternative.

Fox has been running "Bernie getting shafted by DNC???" for a while and so has Trump, its their way to divide the Democrats. If Bernie wins then they switch to "SOCIALISM" mode.

Chris Matthews might actually retire though lmao

I've lived in the DC area for long enough to remember how every day there seemed to be another CREDIBLE THREAT ON OBAMA'S LIFE FROM THE KKK but none of it amounted to anything. There is just too much goddamn security here, especially around inauguration.
