The original looked like it couldnt make its mind up between looking like a PS2 or PS3 game, everything looks great in the remake.
Can we get some direct comparisons to these exact areas so that we can see how much "atmosphere" was "lost" 👀

I'm not talking about the show as a whole. I'm specifically talking about people being upset because Demon Souls remake just doesn't look the way they wanted it to.
Absolutely stunning! Would be ridiculous if it's a launch game but I think Sony just nailed their first year extremely well.
Really? It completely fails to capture the ethereal tone it had in the original if so.
Why was the screenshot stuff that looks way better than anything in the trailer not in the trailer lol

Seeing these screenshots, I think the trailer would have been a bigger success if they had interspersed the cinematics with shots of the player character slow walking through all these environments old time players know and love.

Looks like the tutorial area to me. Specifically, that part where you have to fall down to a lower area with that little section of the railing broken/missing. You can even see the glowing soul/item thing where the hole in the side is.
