Now that's out the way it's time to talk current Destiny 2

The vast majority of Forsaken content has been playable at this point. Here's what you need to know.

The Dreaming City is Destiny 2's End Game location that evolves over a 3 week period before which started once the new raid The Last Wish was cleared for the first time.

Each week the Darkness infesting the city grows. The Taken become more prevalent and new challenges open up. Culminating in the 3rd week with The Shattered Throne, Essentially a 3 person mini raid like experience refereed to as a Dungeon.

That's all great but lets look forward.

Black Armory is the first of 3 planned paid content releases from Bungie in 2018

Black Armory will centre around Elite weapon smiths who forged the finest weapons on the Golden Age

SPOILERS (From leaks)

According to a leaker on Reddit who seems somewhat reputable having leaked forsaken stuff before launch. Festival of the lost will include Thunderlord as a exotic tease for LMG's coming back in Season of the Forge. In addition The Forge of Chains event is a Horde mode encounter where the longer you survive the better the loot. In addition The Last Word is returning with Black Armory.

Black Armory & Season of the Forge will close out 2018. If this thread lives long enough I'll update it with the 2019 content and what we know.

Grinded out my weekly Gambit and got jack shit to help my sorry 525-ish Guardian. You should put that Not All Powerful Engrams Are Equal graphic somewhere in the OP for reference. I thought it said that the Weekly stuff was all good but I probably misremembered.

My poor neglected Hunter. Stuck at 509 and nothing to push him forward.

I really need to get back to the grind, but I don't want to get too involved in the present, when the past looms ever so closely...

Hit 537 yesterday after two weeks of constant playing. Still couldnt do the 350 lvl Weekly Ascendant challenge with a couple of level 340s. The level gating in this game is the worst its ever been, but

the GAMEPLAY, the combat, omg it's sooo good. i love how OP all the new classes are. I love my void Titan who chains one melee into like four melee kills. one grenade into 5-10 kills. i love Gambit especially now that I have unlocked the Sleeper and routinely get 4 kills when i invade. (they probably need to do something about that. ) i liked the new campaign too. loved hunting the barrons. Sucks how we never get to replay those fantastic missions.

Aside from the bullshit 520 soft cap that is designed to limit your progress, i really like the game. i just wish there were more exotics and exotic quests.

2 of my last 3 powerful engrams last night were 550 Edge Transits. Disgusting. I'm crawling my way up in LL and while it sucks to not get to do everything the first go-round I know it'll cycle back. Plus, that spoiler for Black Armory is all I needed in life.

There's lots to do but the grind is back (in certain spots, like some Exotic weapon quests) so do keep this in mind if you're strapped for time. It took me roughly 3 weeks after launch to hit 540 just so I could play the NF again, and this was me playing almost every night.

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the members on ResetEra. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Sou Da. From what I can gather, he commands the thread whiners from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Hangouts thread. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on the Videogames thread.
