I definitely feel like I'm the best and most well rounded I've ever been in crucible lately. Most any random QP match I will be creeping towards the top of the scoreboard without even trying. Also my Elo's are on a sustained positive trend. I can even do good with a hand cannon well at least baby mode Luna's. Also better than I've ever been with shotguns, Im pretty comfortable with them now which is a first. i dont run either hc's or shotguns regularly but i can now use them effectively.
If there's some things I'm still terrible or completely inexperienced at, it'd be the whole grenade launcher meta, and sniping. Still, you cant be proficient in everything.
Turning my mobility up to 8 and switching to arcstrider as well as using Stompees also all are better. The mobility will really win you some strafe fights as well as help surprise people in CQC. All this time in crucible and I never really knew it. Well I did, but only in some theoretical sense that mobility affects strafe speed, I didn't know how actually good it is. At least in this meta.
No doubt because I've just played a lot recently, and my foray into comp also made me better.
My curated outlast is definitely better than my various nightshades. 540's>450 (3 burst)'s, evidently. The damage profile (meaning all the damage including body shots in real, dynamic play, not paper ttk in a 1v1)on the 450's seems poor (versus other top pulses) I dont care what the paper TTK says.
Also I've basically been maining 900 RPM SMG's as my CQC for a little while. Heroes Burden or Recluse in energy slot, and pulled out a old Pillager for kinetic slot. I find them really fun and seem like the most effective smg's.
BTW I cant believe Bungie gives you like 12 essence for a crucible match. I thought at least since people had to play the forest to get some it'd limited. Nope! Hell you can probably keep the buff up indefinitely just by playing crucible.
