Why would you assume that? Their reveal graphic says future of "destiny 2"
at some point I figure they're pacing will slow down unless they can find studios to replace High Moon
Well yeah but I assumed next chapter would be just small updates to tide over to Destiny 3. Are they scrapping 3 and just sticking to updating 2?
No one but bungie knows that, and I would say that's very unlikely.
It's data mined from assets in the game. New patch went up today.
If this is Forsaken level (or close to it), I'll jump back in. If it's Annual Pass level, I'll pass and just follow along from the sidelines until Destiny 3.

WE dont know yet. This found only a couple min ago by people looking through PC files
I don't expect much from bungie not because they are uncapebable but they don't have the large funding of activition
They need more time to develop the game. I don't imagine Bungie intends to repeat the launch mistakes of the previous two installments.

This. I'll reinstall for a month to play a big content dump, but I'm not going to bother for anything in the time-gated annual pass trickle format.
Wonder how thin Bungie is being stretched trying to do the current annual pass, this possible expansion, and D3 at the same time without any of the support studios they relied on in previous years.
There's nothing saying there won't also be another pass on top of this. The Y2 Annual Pass was a separate purchase from Forsaken.
Rise of Iron all over again. Go back to new area of the moon and fight Hive, but these Hive glow. Then bank on the nostalgia and return to some OG moon areas.
