Destiny 2 thread for people enjoying the game

I want to start off by saying, if you are disappointed in Destiny 2, I'm sorry and I feel bad. I am serious when I say that I wish that the game was more enjoyable for you.

With that said, not everyone hates the game so I figured we could use a thread for people who want to talk about what they've been up to, discuss strategies/observations, find a place to get together to play, etc. I hope that the mods can help prevent this thread from getting derailed.

Personally I just started the DLC last night, played a few hours. Some of the minor updates like trading in mods are much appreciated. I'm glad I didn't grind to 305, but this time around I think I'll power through to 335 and try out all the end-game stuff. Of course there are things to criticise, but isn't there always?

I've been a little jaded with the marketing tricks they're pulling.
I still enjoy the game. I have fun every time I schedule a raid with my friends and/or new people.

This is needed. Destiny 2 is fun to play and I've been playing nearly every day since September though I didn't buy the game at launch. My go to chill game after work with a friend.

Enjoying the expansion so far, Mercury is a nice location, exactly what I wanted aesthetically just wish it was bigger to accommodate more public events and Sparrow cruising.

I made both the OTs. There is a thread for the base game, yes, but I had planned for it to go dormant & the CoO essentially be OT2.

There’s wall to wall salt. Mods can decide how they want to handle it, but I like the idea of a salt free Destiny 2 thread. -_-

Well when other threads are pages upon pages of people calling Bungie lazy or incompetent (whether or not this is true is irrelevant) it's very easy for any other comments to get drowned out or lost in the shuffle

This thread will likely get closed but I can understand the OP's reasoning for creating this

The OT's are full of people expressing their rightful criticism, but it drowns out people who want to talk about the game as opposed to just express their disappointment

Honestly this thread is probably needed. I tried checking out the Destiny 2 OTs and they're just flooded with complaints. That's fine, people can be upset with the game. But there's a lot of people who actually enjoy playing the game casually and are looking for just a casual game they can pick up and play a few hours a week.

You know, just calling it 'salt' doesn't make it so.
Nobody is salty or being snide out of jealousy or other reasons, people are rightfully disappointed and are voicing their criticism.

To be clear, the Destiny 2 OT and DLC OT are the threads for the game and its discussion. We're not letting communities make off-shoot threads for games like this.
