Is it really that hard for people to get into a fireteam and do this the normal way?

I never actually finished Leviathan because of reasons. Let's figure something out. Rather do it this way than deal with LFG nonsense.
It takes more effort to do that glitch than it does to actually do it normally.

So I've dumped probably 8 hours into grinding the Titan armor set, and I seem nowhere close. Am i doing it wrong, or is this supposed to take forever?
You'd be surprised how many people have a lot of trouble with the platforming.

Despite my qualms with Crucible, playing through Quick Play for the Legend reset for Solstice really hammered home how much MP is significantly improved with no radar during my time in competitive. Whole new ballgame, especially in close range where you can actually rely on your senses instead of playing motion detector Pac-Man. People rely way too heavily on gluing their sights on the top left of their screen.
What seems to be the trouble ? Are you on the blue armor yet?
One thing I will recommend is the grinding is A LOT easier with a fire team. Especially those blue Redux missions...the green armor set can basically be soloed.

Load up the normal NF and use a weapons and subclass of the orbs you want and kill as many majors as you can. Collect orbs then Wipe and repeat.

So the Solar Super Kills part is glitched for the blue SoH Titan helmet right? I spent a good 2 hours farming thrall in wave 1 of EP and the end of that Prometheus adventure on IO and it went up a whopping 15% after all of that. Yes, I'm using bottom skill tree.

using sunspots to kill? they also count(Grenade and Melee sunspots too), basically hit a hammer on the ground and lure the thrall into it. You can also stand in it to make your super last longer.

Some bounties are functionally broken. I don't remember which they are but they do not appear to be working properly, you've encountered the bounties that are broken. Abandon them.

You need a Decrypted Cache Key, which you get by getting a Encrypted Cache Key and doing 7 waves. You get a Encrypted Cache Key by giving Ana 7 Rasputin Key Fragments.
It is a pain in the ass, but eventually via some combination of the Xbox site and DestinyTheGame.com, i managed to find just the basic Forsaken and Annual Pass bundle. Think I also found just Forsaken in my search.
I can't speak for irishonion, but I did 3 days while on vacation in high school. Yes, it led to hallucinations along with other things. I don't recommend it.
I'm about to eat now, but it shouldn't be a problem for me.
