Expecting a major update for next gen, Capcom being too quiet about a successful game was suspicious.

each player fights in their own arena and killing enemies spawns them in the other player's arena. Killing an enemy with a high style rank spawns a boosted/modified version of the killed enemy in the other player's arena

First player to die loses

In fact, Void mode was announced in the X018, so it's very possible that we see a coop mode at least or the Vergil DLC.

Fully expecting SE in 2021 when next gen comes around. It's the only way I see console getting turbo mode and LDK mode
