You should watch the video of course but the basics...

Xbox One - 1280 x 720 (720p)
PS4 - 1600 x 1080 (1080p with reduced horizontal res)
PS4 Pro - reconstructed res/half vertical res in stills (something like 1088 x 1440?)
Xbox One X - 2560 x 1440 (1440p)

I recommend watching the video to understand the PS4 Pro res. It's not CB but it's reconstructed from a lower res. "Looks pretty good in motion but you do lose a little bit of temporal resolution".

Framerate not absolutely perfect on any console.

PS4 Pro/PS4/Xbox One - 60fps 90% of the time with drops to the mid 50s around the dust wall
Xbox One - Almost always below 60fps. Only hits 60fps if you look at ground.

Watch the video as there is a lot of detail in it as always. Sounds like Xbox One X/PS4/Pro are all pretty close with Xbox One X the best to play on due to resolution. Base Xbox One sounds like a very very inferior way to play the game as it's 720p and below 60fps almost always.

720p and 60fps looking at the ground only? Geez konami, you didnt need to give me so many reasons not to buy this

These terrible ports are becoming common place now. I wonder if they're just going to throw whatever for OG/S now and focus only on X optimization from now on

I think he means native 2k. Should be good on 2k monitors with the support for it coming out.

Can't watch the video right now. But does the PS4 Pro use a technique similar to Killzone Shadowfall? Or is it really rendering at 1088 x 1440?

Ok I'm confuse. Is it now higher res the best thing for play a game in the multiplat? Because lately the standard to define what is it better for the gameplay are changed :/

To be fair the fog is actually the best thing about Survive, and it's a genuinely interesting and deep gameplay mechanic.

Better than 900p 30fps which is likely what they could have done for Base XBO if they put it to 30fps, 720p 60fps is a good choice

What? These discussions have been taking place forever. The start of the generation resolution was all you heard. The technical performance of a game has always been important to many people.

Interesting to note that they sent Xbox copies to Giant Bomb. I wonder if they made sure critics had Xbox One X's before sending review codes? I can understand wanting people to play the best version but you're also gambling with them playing THE WORST VERSION.

2k is half the res of 4k.
1080p is quarter the res of 4k.
2k is not 1080p.
Nah. It's "4K" because it's (nearly) 4,000 horizontal pixels, i.e., 3840 Ă— 2160. "2K" therefore means around 2,000 horizontal pixels, or half 4K resolution on each axis. That's exactly 1080p.

The difference is that 4K and 2K were originally used for non-16:9 resolutions.

I am so sorry for starting this 'wtf is 2k' discussion with my mistake.

The base Xbox One has been trending down in resolution again lately. Lots of games going south of 900p. Wonder if devs are just focusing on the X at this point.

Seems like it's similar to what Killzone did? Renders half the vertical lines then reconstructs.
Something seems off about this because 1088x1440 is actually less pixels per frame than 1600x1080. Makes no sense that the PS4pro would be rendering at a lower native resolution than the base PS4, even when you account for the temporal reconstruction cost. There must be more to this story (though I guess we'll never find out for sure unless someone from the dev team actually comments on it).
