Bummer, I was kinda hoping to do a rebuild of my rig using Ryzen 4000 chips when the new generation of GPUs start rolling out, to move to an all-SSD storage solution (and to re-use my existing rig and hard drives as an Unraid box).

But yeah, this clears the air for anyone wanting to use Ryzen 30000 for a new build. I'd still recommend picking up a B550 or X570 board for better Ryzen 4000 compatibility, but still.

Intel will only have rocket lake this year and still on 14nm, they will wait for it before launching R4000.
