I'm likely ditching a full year sub to Netflix when Disney+ launches. I only have Netflix for kids content. My wife and I aren't interested in anything Netflix offers except Stranger Things and Sacred Games (which ended?).
You can get both services for under $20.00. The cost of either of the services is a lunch, and not a nice one. Even if you combined all the major services, you're still likely paying under what cable costs.
It's easy to be 'loyal' to something that costs almost nothing but is always there if you want it. I'll be loyal to Disney+ just because its easy access to a ton of things I love and want access to at any time. Netflix is similar. Even CBS All access. The amount they're charging for what you're getting is like stealing.

But content is what matters.
As the Disney+ library grows this will be a much more difficult question to answer and a few major exclusives can change everything very easily.

I'm not even sure this has anything to do with loyalty. I tried every major streaming service available to date and most of them are pretty much designed to actively drive users away. Eg. I've used 6+ months or so of HBO Now and Hulu each since 2013, usually for specific content pieces - and most of what I remember of that usage is associated with constant service and UX frustrations, rather than the content I watched.
Disney+ banking mostly on their content pedigree shows no indications so far it'll be much better in the above respects - but I guess we'll see in a month or so.
I don't personally see any of the services as prohibitive, and if you're the type to not want to stick with multiple services, you can easily subscribe to the one with the shows you want to watch on a monthly basis. Edit-- except Amazon Prime, I suppose, but I consider that a nice extra for what I originally subscribed for anyway and their shows tend to be pretty good and much more focused.
I hesitantly bought into the Disney + service after the third time that discounted rate popped up on my radar, and I'm sure I'll get plenty of value out of just the Star Wars/Marvel shows and Simpsons catalog.

This. It's absolutely not an either or, I'm quite excited for Disney+ but there's just no way it'd kill netflix for me.
I use Hulu way more than Netflix, but Netflix had The Good Place seasons 1-3, so I stay subscribed to watch it, at least until they pull it for Peacock or whatever they're calling their thing.
I'm totally getting Disney+ though.

This is the primary reason for my disinterest as well. I know they'll have other shit, but I already have most of what I'd watch already
What's actually wrong with that, though? What is wrong with supporting a service you enjoy and hope continues to exist? I always use the same mechanic because he is trustworthy and reliable. I use the same electronics store cos their customer service has always been amazing. I sub to Spotify even though its UI could be better because I love the service and don't want it to be consumed by Apple Music or Amazon.
There is nothing wrong with supporting a service, even from a huge company, if you enjoy it, as long as you aren't paying blindly for it only because of 'loyalty'
he loves some of the originals though. storybots and the new magical schoolbus are on his rotation when he watches something. Captain underpants and a few others he ends up watching as well (randomly She-Ra)
You know I barely watch anything on Netflix, if ever, and sometimes when I'm bored will unconsciously open the Netflix app and still not watch something. And yet I'm paying each month for it and I would feel at a loss without it. So I can see where they are coming from.

This poll (again, done by an investment firm) shows that the vast majority of those polled have no interest in having both, though, they are going to stick with Netflix and aren't even considering Disney+.
And I do think even as cheap as they are they add up, so, for instance, I don't see Apple TV+ being worth it, at least not initially. Maybe to subscribe to for a month at a time every six months if I really really want to see the content. There's also the "there's only so much time in the day" thing. With kids, who despite health warnings have a ton of time to watch tv, subscribing is a no brainer, though.
If the price is right in the UK then I'll sign up to Disney, but that doesn't mean I'm going to quit Netflix or Prime.

Netflix has been and continues to be the one of the only respites from the PG-13-ization of Hollywood and domination of capes***, things Disney+ will double down on. Artistically and creatively , they're almost unsupportable because of that.
Also, Disney's not even digging deep into their vault for it. Most of the stuff on it at launch is material that is easy to see elsewhere (mostly DVD/Blu-Ray).

I know my wife is actively excited to end our Netflix subscription and replace it with a Disney+ subscription. We already have a Hulu subscription which covers most of the current TV shows my wife & I watch, we don't like most of the Netflix original content (and it sounds like most of their big non-original content is going to scatter to the various other services within the next couple of years), and we've got a bunch of kids who love Disney stuff.
Having no horror or R rated content is just meh. Netflix and Amazon have some fun horror things. Disney will keep making PG13 movies and series
Definitely getting Disney + but as long as Netflix has MST3K and Stranger Things I'll be keeping that sub. =)

Incorrect. Their highest threat is lack of adult movies. Not porn, but movies that are targetted towards the adult audience: Horror movies, R rated movies, thrillers, foreign movies, and more. Netflix retention is the symptom of their PG service.
Disney doesn't have nearly the content and diversity of Netflix. I'll try it for free but I won't pay for it
Its still far better. If anything, its close to the ala-carte version of cable that people had been asking for. You shouldnt be piling up on all these services and paying for them perpetually. Pick the ones that have the programming you want to watch and drop them when you are done. All it takes is a few clicks.
Last time I had cable, even with the shittiest package, I was still paying $70 a month just to watch Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, and it was only that "cheap" because I signed a contract for a year or two. And when I was finally done with it I had to call and let them first convince me to stay, then wait for them to send out some boxes, pack up the equipment and pay ups to pick it up.

netflix has got a pretty diverse lineup of shows. movies, documentaries, cartoons, bollywood movies, anime, kids shit, adult shit.
and netflix's app and experience is pleasant enough to not bother unsubscribing.
Half the reason i use netfix is that their PS4 app is so good.
i got a free trial to amazon prime video and goddamn, what a miserable app experience.
actually i don't even know if disney+ is even coming to NZ. so it might not even be a problem.

I'm not loyal to Netflix as a brand, but they have the content I like. I looked at the Disney+ content list none of it appeals to me. I don't like Marvel or Star Wars, and I don't care about all the Disney made movies or family/kid friendly stuff they have on that list.
