Based on the critically-acclaimed New York Times best-selling Young Adult novel of the same name, this teen coming-of-age story is about Leo Borlock (Graham Verchere), an average 16-year-old who is content to fly under the radar until an offbeat and unconventional new student named Stargirl (Grace VanderWaal) shows up at his high school, turning his and everyone else's world upside down, forever changing the way they see themselves and each other.
Togo
Based on a true-life adventure in the Alaskan tundra, this story takes place in 1925, when an epidemic of diphtheria breaks out in a remote Alaskan town, causing countless children to fall gravely ill. The necessary antitoxin is hundreds of miles away, across treacherous terrain with a massive storm on the horizon. As the crisis grows more desperate, the village leaders realize their only hope lies with one man—Leonhard Seppala (Willem Dafoe) and his lead sled dog, Togo.
Timmy Failure
Based on the book Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made by Stephan Pastis from the beloved illustrated book series of the same name, Timmy Failure is helmed by Academy Award®-winning director Tom McCarthy with a screenplay by McCarthy & Pastis, and tells the story of Timmy, our quirky, deadpan hero, who along with his 1,500 pound polar bear partner, Total, operates TOTAL FAILURE INC., a world-class detective agency (at least in Timmy's mind anyway).
29 Dates:
Disney won the bidding war for the film rights to Melissa de la Cruz's 2018 YA novel 29 Dates; de la Cruz also wrote the series of Disney novels The Descendants. 29 Dates is about a Korean student who moves to the US and deals with high school drama as well as a string of matchmaking dates. The Gotham Group, the company behind Disney+'s Stargirl, is adapting the film.
Flora & Ulysses
Announced in May 2018, this family story is based on Kate DiCamillo's novel about a cynical girl and a squirrel with superpowers. The film, directed by Lena Khan (The Tiger Hunter) with a script by Brad Copeland (Ferdinand), is rumored to go into production in June 2019.
The Grimm Legacy
This adaptation of Polly Shulman's YA series was first announced in February 2019, with David Gleeson (Tolkien) attached as screenwriter. The YA series is about teens who work at a library that loans out magical items from the Grimm collection.
Sister Act 3
Announced in December 2018, a third Sister Act film is on the way from Regina Hicks (Insecure) and Karin Gist (Star). The film will most likely feature an all-new cast, although Whoopi Goldberg has expressed interest in coming back for an appearance.
The Sword in the Stone
A live-action remake of the 1963 animated film was announced in January 2018 with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) attached as director and Bryan Cogman (Game of Thrones) attached as screenwriter.

This reality competition show will pit two families from diverse backgrounds against each other as they try to come up with a dish that represents their family and will be served at Walt Disney World. The series will be hosted by The Office alum Angela Kinsey.

Similar in tone to ABC's Once Upon a Time, Book of Enchantment is expected to adapt Serena Valentino's book series and focus on villains like Beast, Ursula, and The Wicked Queen. Announced in February 2019, Michael Seitzman (Quantico) will pen the pilot script. Work on Season 1's scripts is reportedly beginning in April 2019 with filming possibly beginning in 2020.

Possibly the only Disney+ project coming from an outside production company, this CBS TV Studios series is told from the POV of a 12-year-old Cuban-American girl/future president. The series was created by Ilana Peña (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and will be executive produced by Gina Rodriguez. Robin Shorr (The Carmichael Show) will serve as showrunner.
Earthkeepers (working title)
This docuseries from Emmy-winning production company Supper Club will focus on conservationists and the animals they're studying and caring for, specifically those working with endangered species. The series comes from the creators of Chef's Table.

This reality show will reunite the casts of local high school musicals and task them with recreating their original performance from back in the day. Executive produced by Kristen Bell, the show will feature numbers from The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, Annie, and more.
Hawkeye
A limited series starring Jeremy Renner's archer Avenger has been announced for Disney+. The series, which does not yet have a showrunner attached, will focus on Renner's Clint Barton passing the Hawkeye mantle to Kate Bishop, a fan-favorite character who has headlined her own Hawkeye comic series in recent years.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum
Through the prism of Jeff Goldblum's always inquisitive and highly entertaining mind, nothing is as it seems in this new series. Each episode is centered around something we all love—like sneakers or ice cream—as Jeff pulls the thread on these deceptively familiar objects and unravels a wonderful world of astonishing connections, fascinating science and history, amazing people, and a whole lot of surprising big ideas and insights.
Leah on the Offbeat
It was revealed ahead of the big Disney+ Investor Day presentation that a TV series based on the sequel to the feature film Love, Simon has been ordered. The series will adapt Leah on the Offbeat, the novel that focuses on Simon's best friend Leah. The film's screenwriters Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker will serve as showrunners. The film's director Greg Berlanti will not be involved in any way due to his exclusive overall contract with Warner Bros. Television.
Loki
One of three Marvel series coming to Disney+, this one features Tom Hiddleston's return as the scheming trickster god and will drop him in various points throughout human history. Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty) will write the pilot and act as showrunner.
Marvel 616 (working title)
Produced by Supper Club, Marvel 616 is a docuseries anthology about the relationship between the stories of the Marvel Universe and culture, history, and society.

Monsters at Work
This Monsters, Inc. spinoff series is coming to Disney+ in 2020. The series picks up six months after the first film and deals with how Monstropolis has changed after the discovery that the laughter of children is a more powerful power supply than their screams. The series will feature the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman, as well as original cast members John Ratzenberger, Jennifer Tilly, and Bob Peterson. New voices include Ben Feldman as an eager young mechanic, Kelly Marie Tran, Henry Winkler, and Aisha Tyler.
Muppets Live Another Day
A Disney+ Muppets series was first rumored in February 2018 and then confirmed in February 2019. The new series will pick up after the events of 1984's The Muppets Take Manhattan and will focus on Kermit's quest to reunite his disparate crew in the wake of Rowlf's disappearance. The series comes from Josh Gad and Once Upon a Time team Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. Muppets Live Another Day is expected to hit Disney+ in 2020.

Announced in April during Disney's big Investor Day presentation, this series comes from David Mickey Evans, who co-wrote and directed the original film. Set in 1984, the series is said to star many of the original characters (and actors) from the movie and will focus on their kids.
Secret Society of Second Born
First rumored for inclusion on the Disney+ slate in April 2019, this series is about a 15-year-old girl who attends a school for those of royal blood who also possess superpowers. Season 1 is rumored to film in Toronto from May to June of 2019. The series is reportedly produced by Austin Winsberg (Gossip Girl) and Mike Karz (The Nut Job), directed by Anna Mastro (The Bold Type), written by Alex Litvak (Predators) and Andrew Green (Hannah Montana).
Shop Class (working title)
This reality competition series will test out the ingenuity and inventiveness of a group of students whose creations will be judged by a panel of experts. The series will build towards one team of students being named Shop Class Champs.
Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2
As never before in its near-century-long history, Walt Disney Animation Studios is opening its doors, allowing cameras to capture in intimate detail how the voice cast, directors, and team of artists come together to create Frozen 2. This multi-episode documentary series shows the hard work, imagination, heart, fun, and intensity that go into making one of the most highly anticipated Disney Animation features of all time.
Falcon and Winter Soldier series
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are rumored to team-up as their Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes. Malcolm Spellman (Empire) is attached to write the pilot.
Untitled Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel
The third Star Wars series for Disney+ (following Clone Wars Season 7 and The Mandalorian) remains the most mysterious. So far all we know is that Diego Luna will return as his Rebel spy character Cassian Andor, which means that the series will be set right before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode IV–A New Hope. The series is expected to go into production this year.
Untitled Walt Disney Imagineering docu-series
This was teased by Disney CEO Bob Iger in November 2018 and confirmed in April 2019. This doc will give an unprecedented look at the work of the people that create the attractions in the Disney parks.
Untitled What If? animated series
This series, based on the long-running Marvel comic, was reported on in March 2019. If confirmed, will be an animated anthology series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will present alternate takes on familiar stories. The thinking is that since it's animated, it may be easier to get the A-list Marvel movie stars in for a voice role than have them all do live-action spinoffs.
WandaVision
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to return for a co-lead series focusing on these two Avengers' relationship and superheroic partnership. Black Widow screenwriter Jac Schaeffer has been confirmed as showrunner and will write the pilot script.

A limited series starring Jeremy Renner's archer Avenger has been announced for Disney+. The series, which does not yet have a showrunner attached, will focus on Renner's Clint Barton passing the Hawkeye mantle to Kate Bishop, a fan-favorite character who has headlined her own Hawkeye comic series in recent years.

Leah on the Offbeat
It was revealed ahead of the big Disney+ Investor Day presentation that a TV series based on the sequel to the feature film Love, Simon has been ordered. The series will adapt Leah on the Offbeat, the novel that focuses on Simon's best friend Leah. The film's screenwriters Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker will serve as showrunners. The film's director Greg Berlanti will not be involved in any way due to his exclusive overall contract with Warner Bros. Television.
Loki
One of three Marvel series coming to Disney+, this one features Tom Hiddleston's return as the scheming trickster god and will drop him in various points throughout human history. Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty) will write the pilot and act as showrunner.
Marvel 616 (working title)
Produced by Supper Club, Marvel 616 is a docuseries anthology about the relationship between the stories of the Marvel Universe and culture, history, and society.

Monsters at Work
This Monsters, Inc. spinoff series is coming to Disney+ in 2020. The series picks up six months after the first film and deals with how Monstropolis has changed after the discovery that the laughter of children is a more powerful power supply than their screams. The series will feature the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman, as well as original cast members John Ratzenberger, Jennifer Tilly, and Bob Peterson. New voices include Ben Feldman as an eager young mechanic, Kelly Marie Tran, Henry Winkler, and Aisha Tyler.
Muppets Live Another Day
A Disney+ Muppets series was first rumored in February 2018 and then confirmed in February 2019. The new series will pick up after the events of 1984's The Muppets Take Manhattan and will focus on Kermit's quest to reunite his disparate crew in the wake of Rowlf's disappearance. The series comes from Josh Gad and Once Upon a Time team Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. Muppets Live Another Day is expected to hit Disney+ in 2020.

Announced in April during Disney's big Investor Day presentation, this series comes from David Mickey Evans, who co-wrote and directed the original film. Set in 1984, the series is said to star many of the original characters (and actors) from the movie and will focus on their kids.
Secret Society of Second Born
First rumored for inclusion on the Disney+ slate in April 2019, this series is about a 15-year-old girl who attends a school for those of royal blood who also possess superpowers. Season 1 is rumored to film in Toronto from May to June of 2019. The series is reportedly produced by Austin Winsberg (Gossip Girl) and Mike Karz (The Nut Job), directed by Anna Mastro (The Bold Type), written by Alex Litvak (Predators) and Andrew Green (Hannah Montana).
Shop Class (working title)
This reality competition series will test out the ingenuity and inventiveness of a group of students whose creations will be judged by a panel of experts. The series will build towards one team of students being named Shop Class Champs.
Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2
As never before in its near-century-long history, Walt Disney Animation Studios is opening its doors, allowing cameras to capture in intimate detail how the voice cast, directors, and team of artists come together to create Frozen 2. This multi-episode documentary series shows the hard work, imagination, heart, fun, and intensity that go into making one of the most highly anticipated Disney Animation features of all time.
Falcon and Winter Soldier series
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are rumored to team-up as their Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes. Malcolm Spellman (Empire) is attached to write the pilot.
Untitled Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel
The third Star Wars series for Disney+ (following Clone Wars Season 7 and The Mandalorian) remains the most mysterious. So far all we know is that Diego Luna will return as his Rebel spy character Cassian Andor, which means that the series will be set right before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode IV–A New Hope. The series is expected to go into production this year.
Untitled Walt Disney Imagineering docu-series
This was teased by Disney CEO Bob Iger in November 2018 and confirmed in April 2019. This doc will give an unprecedented look at the work of the people that create the attractions in the Disney parks.
Untitled What If? animated series
This series, based on the long-running Marvel comic, was reported on in March 2019. If confirmed, will be an animated anthology series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will present alternate takes on familiar stories. The thinking is that since it's animated, it may be easier to get the A-list Marvel movie stars in for a voice role than have them all do live-action spinoffs.
WandaVision
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to return for a co-lead series focusing on these two Avengers' relationship and superheroic partnership. Black Widow screenwriter Jac Schaeffer has been confirmed as showrunner and will write the pilot script.
