Yes, it was a Disney Life exclusive in the Philippines for a while.

If you're talking about real obscure, I would say any of the original shorts or TV series like Zorro or the Mickey Mouse Club are pretty hard to find. The physical release of them (treasure sets) are absurdly expensive, some go for like $300+ for used.
Zorro isn't on the service yet unfortunately (I requested it !) They have that pilot/tv movie Mark of Zorro, but that's it. I have memories of watching Zorro with my mom, so I'm hoping they add it. I was able to get Season 2 from DMR, Season 1 was long gone outside collectors asking for 100-200 dollars for the set.

Sorry if this has been discussed, but did Disney plus remove Dolby vision? My TV would force Dolby vision on 4k content, which I did not like, but today it didn't. I then noticed on the movie description that Dolby vision was no longer listed as a format, but hdr10 still was.

I'm having very low audio in the app on my Sony TV compared to everything else. Found a couple of threads on Reddit with the same issue, but no resolution. Mine comes in cleanly over my Sono Playbase and surround speakers, but it's super quiet. I have to basically double the volume when using the service.

when the quality changes, my Disney+ freezes. It's not like I'm not using a system that isn't powerful enough, I have a PS4 pro. It's just annoying to be watching, have the video pause for like 10 seconds while the audio goes on, and then it goes back to where it was before the change.

This doesn't have the original Brave Little Toaster. Might as well call it Disney -

Oh, mine was doing this last night too! Interesting.

Also, the UX for this on Fire Stick is awful. My Xbox One version so much better. Trying to find a certain scene by going back or forth with actually selecting a scene so much better. What were they thinking...

My Math was off in first post... but someone already cleared it up.

Hulu (No Ad Version) - $11.99
Disney+ - $12.99
Credit for bundling - $5.99
Total for All of it - $18.99

So currently I was paying...

$12.99 for Netflix (Steaming only, HD)
$11.99 for Hulu (No Ads)
Total: $24.98/month to pretty much watch anything I generally want to.

My New total is $31.98 with the addition of Disney & EPSN. I wish I could have it all for $25 a month but hey, still a good deal. At least for me based on the stuff my family watches.

That is still a crap ton of content for less than $40 a month. I dunno why anyone would pay for cable TV at this point... except for live TV & sports (which you can watch in many other ways these days for free, over the air or otherwise).

Amazon was a last minute deal for them, so the app is awful.

Even the PS4 compared to Xbox isn't so great, you can't sort genres with the shoulder buttons. Also, if my PS4 is in rest mode, my Disney+ errors and then I have to relog in every single time.

D+ is only supposed to be $7 by itself.

All I want is Hulu w/no-adds for a reasonable price. I could care less about ESPN+. I'm already locked into Disney+ for 3yrs and have Hulu w/adds for free and never watch it.

A couple of questions:

1. What are the pros/cons of subscribing through Disney+ directly or Roku?
2. Is Rogue One in 4K?
3. Most importantly, is that awesome Aladdin animated series from the 90s on it? I sure hope it is!

1. It's pretty glitchy, things definitely need to be worked out and the sorting of some things is just not good.
2. Yes, Rogue One is in 4K
3. No, but it could be added later.

Sorry to disappoint you, but it's not. As a matter of fact, it's the only Movie based series that ISN'T on here (Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, and Hercules are here)
Glad that Rogue One is in 4K but maaaaaan how could they leave out the Aladdin series?! That was the best! Ah, well, hopefully they'll add it later. Thanks for the responses!

One thing I find annoying is how the apps don't show which episodes or content have been played and when you want to resume a show and press play, it starts on episode one. I also see a glitch where even though I have something in my watchlist, the plus button will indicate I can add it to my watchlist, instead of show a check mark or something to show I already have it in my list.

I have submitted feedback in the app.

Do Canada and US have different rollouts? Some of this is already up in Canada. Live action Beauty and the Beast, all the Mighty Ducks movies, Cool Runnings, Tomorrowland and National Treasure are some that I checked that are available already.

Why is there no button to remove shows from the watchlist on Apple TV? This app is so bad. Show not on watch list has a plus sign to add it. Shows on the watch list have a plus sign to...remove it? Except hitting it just adds it again.

Yes. Those things weren't previously streaming on other services in Canada so Disney didn't have to wait to make them available on Disney+ here.

I heard on the news some accounts have been hacked. I'm sure this has happened on other streaming services as well.
Thousands got hacked. Doesn't surprise me it doesn't have 2FA. Last i checked none of the big streaming sites do aside from amazon. All have been hacked im pretty sure everything gets hacked unfortunately.

I make it a point to pay for a month, cancel and remove card as a safeguard. Yeah, it's a pain to go back in and renew but it's better than jumping through hoops with customer support.

So much I want added. Where are some of the older Disney shorts like Skeleton Dance? Where is the Alice films he did and other things before Mickey Mouse!?

I also feel like there's even more Christmas stuff in the vault that they could release before December.

Oh wow just saw Muppet Christmas Carol is 4k HDR, that honestly might be enough to keep me subbed through December.

My kid is going to be so sick of the Christmas Carol story, because I'm making him watch this and Mickey Christmas Carol in the next week or so!

I don't know if you already saw this, but Disney Plus is asking people to request films and tv shows that they want to see on the service.
  1. Go to the help section of Disney Plus: https://help.disneyplus.com/csp
  2. Click on "Give Feedback"
  3. Then click on "Request a film or show"
You can request up to three things. The Muppet Show (1976) was one of the three things that I requested.

Disney's Peter and the wolf, not quite Human,

And I know it doesn't count (because Disney just licensed it for stateside release)but

Sorry if this has been discussed, but did Disney plus remove Dolby vision? My TV would force Dolby vision on 4k content, which I did not like, but today it didn't. I then noticed on the movie description that Dolby vision was no longer listed as a format, but hdr10 still was.

It appears hdr is gone from Android TV app on my Sony TV and the Android app on my note 10+. They were both working fine yesterday.

So since disney's support wait time is insane right now, can anyone tell me how adding the bundle works if I have already paid for 3 years and I have the extra year of verizon? I also already had hulu without ads, so really the only thing I'm adding is the espn+.
