How is it dumb when Disney didn't give anyone something to even call it? What did you refer to it as if talking about it to someone, before it was given an official name?
Simple. They're not factually baby yoda. Good god. The episode is called the child. There's your name.

It's dumb Because it's not true. The shit people will argue.

I'm... not arguing... I'm just saying why people would call it that. I don't know anyone who looked at the episode title and said "The Child was super cute on the episode last night!". You seem very angry about this.

Direct isn't angry. I literally had conversations after it saying the child from mandalorian was amazing last night. Because you know, it's not baby yoda And my friends aren't dumb so they got it.

That cameo at the end of this week's High School Musical was pretty good.

Your Friday content drop. Season finale for The Imagineering Story, I wonder if this means we will get a season two?

Also Waking Sleeping Beauty is now streaming, not sure if that is new.

I do notice they call it the "season" finale for Imagineering, not the series finale.

So glad it looks like Leslie Iwerks' series will be extended.

This on its own has been worth the Disney+ Subscription for me so far (especially since it was originally going to be a feature length doc which would have been such a shame). I'd pay that for just this. Lol

Can't wait to check out the new one today.

I really enjoyed the imagineering story. I do wish it went more in depth on each of the rides. The Haunted Mansion segment was fantastic.

I also would like to see one on animation similar to Waking Sleeping Beauty.

This. I'm hoping next "season" will have episodes that are the same quality but concentrate on one ride per episode and give even more info. Especially for ones that didn't get more coverage. That said, as much as I loved how much the focused on the HM, I would love even more.

I think D2 and D3 are actually coming January 1st 2021 haha. I did a double take when I saw that D2 and D3 were supposed to be up ahead of The Mighty Ducks (July 1st 2020).

You're going to be in for a shock when you learn that some people call me Jenny but my actual name is Jennifer. I guess people are dumb for calling me something I'm not. Facts.
Not at all relevant. Jenny is a shortened version. The child is in fact NOT any sort of baby yoda.

Anyone watch the new SparkShorts Wind? It was sweet and a great immigration story.

There was a fight in this house over who gets to use the Baby Yoda avatar.

It lasted three seconds. The jobless layabout 11 yr old who doesn't put in on this D+ won. It's like the fucking electoral college.

I have a question about the Narnia films. I heard that they never finished adapting the books to movies and it was incomplete. Is that true? I don't want to get invested if they weren't finished.

Every week when we watch the Mandalorian it pauses with a loading icon or gets blurry all of the sudden at least once, sometimes several times. Super annoying. This is the only content this happens with (Apple TV).

They only adapted the first 3 of 7 books but it doesn't really matter. A fourth film was in the works as of a couple of years ago but that was abandoned and now Netflix is working on something with the series.

I'm with you 100%. There are so many interesting facets of history and theme park design that could be highlighted. Very happy to have it.

Dang. I was hoping this would be a much longer series.

You and me both

That's what I thought. I probably won't invest my time until they adapt the rest. Thanks.

"The Child" is the same species as Yoda. Yoda's species is not named. "The Child" is a really vague name that will likely confuse most people when discussing the character. It's not rocket science why people would opt for calling the character a nickname instead of the official name, the same way someone might call me a shorter nickname instead of my "official" name. Calling people dumb for this is downright "I'm 14 and I'm smarter than you" level logic. This is the silliest argument I've ever had on this site. :P

The way Narnia works is that its cast of characters almost entirely change from movie to movie. The 3 they made are actually the most connected (until the final book). And there's also a couple others that are connected to each-other (Which weren't made). So honestly you're probably fine to watch the existing films. You could also seek out the old BBC adaptations, which did adapt a few more of the books. Though I don't think the entire series has ever actually been properly adapted. Maybe the Netflix version will be it.

I watch on AppleTV and it seems that every time I start an episode it starts stuttering and skipping and then resolved itself in about 10 seconds. Does anyone else experience this?

I think mine does something similar - Dolby Audio goes on, then goes off, then goes back on again and that process causes Disney+ shows/movies to pause at the beginning and I have to press Play again.
