I still have my two turntables (And a microphone). I played the PS3 games last year and the UI is as clunky as ever, but fun.
I never actually played a DJ Hero game, but I like music rhythm games a lot. Were these games any good? And can they be enjoyed without the turntable peripheral? If so, I'll probably check this out.
Turntable, DJ Hero 1 and 2 AND a PS3 to play it on. I'll never forgive myself for selling my copy of Elite Beat Agents, but I'll take my DJ Hero turntable to my grave.
Oh god yes. Some of the remixed songs are so good they might be better than the originals...
Unless they add something in to this new version, you'd need the turntable
Going to declare this one dubious, I'm afraid, given Activision has been moving towards Battle.net exclusivity for a while.
Oh my god. Hoping this is true. Even if it's just a proper PC release of 1+2 - it would be absolutely wonderful. They pulled the DLC off the console marketplaces, so now there's no way to import DJ Hero 1 tracks into the second game.
They did a intergalactic x rapture song on the first one and I still listen to it to this day

EDIT: To be fair, this thing could just be a coincidence, but to me, it's much more likely that some dude who's trying to decompile DJ Hero 2 submitted this than Activision actually resuscitating the IP

I stan several mixes from DJH1 and like 95% of DJH2 is even better. (Although whoever decided Kanye vs. Metallica- that was a miss)

Damn, you guys aren't kidding about these remixes! I'm now bummed this apparently isn't official :(
I swear haven't had to change the batteries in my turntable or Guitar Hero guitar, ever. In over a decade. They must have been crafted by the Devil or something. Anyway, I love the first one. I'd be keen for a follow-up.
