Dmitry Glukhovsky (Metro creator) is apparently not happy about Metro Exodus going to Epic Games Store

Not gonna lie I haven't read the original books but I love how Glukhovsky responds to stuff, especially with the Sapkowski debacle.
I'm truly curious how is Exodus going to perform on the Epic store.

It would be a natural response from the author to be repulsed by a change in revenue generation into a more uncertain one.
I, as a faithful steam devotee, agree that exposing the game into the smaller market is a very risky proposition.

Damn, he doesn't hold back. I think this deal will end up hurting the franchise long-term, but we'll see.
Just want to say - that if you had a creative legacy and universe you made, you might be a bit worried about it and how it is consumed by people! Maybe even a bit dramatic if you poured your life into it all! Passion and such.

Care to explain how? I genuinely don't think this is doom for the franchise.
I believe if the game is good it will sell, Steam or not.
If it is bad, it will sell less being only on Epic store.
