I know they troll the shit out of you, but watching the ghosts crawl for their lives in Luigi's Mansion 3 is getting to me weirdly, and then he starts slamming the shit out of them.

Truth be told, not a fan of killing female enemies in games. Probably sexist of me. I also hate killing animals in open world games for crafting resources. Space nazis, I can kill all day.

Most of Ubisoft's recent output is pretty uncomfortable fare, whether it's extralegal military forces continuing the war on drugs by murdering thousands of dudes in Bolivia or the fascist militia of The Division killing the poor for trying to survive.

Mostly just animals. Had a hard time killing the herbivores in Mon Hun when I first started playing the games.

Don't feel bad about the ghosts in Luigi's Mansion. They are already dead and you're just collecting them and handing them over to E.Gadd. No idea what he is doing to them though...

Killing critters by accident in WoW can be a little sad. Aside from that, never.

A bit yeah. Some more than others depending on context and backstory.

But I hate it when a game tries to guilt me about it while it's absolutely inevitable in its gameplay to do so in the first place. The fake-deep takes some games can try to make is absolutely cringey and makes me wanna punch faces.

No, it's just a game.

Developers put them there for a reason so I don't really care. Another question would be if sparing someone opens up an alternative story/ending/whatever.

In all honesty I feel bad about killing /hurting anything fun stop.

I really wish more games had alternatives.

Killing Tsunderplane in Undertale made me feel bad because the ensuing explosion was comically loud lol

Fuck those ghosts in Luigi's Mansion though, I cheered at being able to slam them now.

Probably shadow of the colussus is the only game I feel like that

Edit: oh and Kulu-Ya-Ku from MHW he's like completely harmless (unless your an egg) and you go and murder him for his parts

But it's not political.

It's always hilarious as hell to see my partner, a very socialist progressive SJW person, play Division 2 with 3 other friends, all very socialist progressive persons as well, and having to do missions in which they're obviously killing oppressed people/working for the bad guys.

"HOW DO YOU LIKE KILLING ANTIFAS, GUYYYSS?? FEELING GOOD YET? US OF MOTHERFUCKING A AMIRITE?" I often snarkily comment from afar. They hate the political aspect of the game so much, but enjoy the gameplay still, and I get it tbh, but it makes for hilarious moments, really.

I guess I used to a bit. I'm replaying the SC series and I used to try to do no kill playthroughs. But now I'm killing everyone.

When I killed the feral human that lives with wolves in RDR2 I reloaded. When I ride past and hear him howl I steer clear. He did me no wrong, I leave him alone.

The only game that kinda makes me feel bad about killing enemies is EDF 5...those poor frogs, and what you can do to them.

I once rented one of the earlier CoD titles. After my first headshot I brought the game back and never touched the series or similar games ever since.

No. The ONLY time I felt bad killing someone in video games is when:

I had to kill The Boss

It destroyed me but other than that no

I accidentally killed a dog in Far Cry New Dawn the other day and had to reload the save. Felt bad, man.

I didn't like killing bullet kins in Enter The Gungeon because they're so cute. But after a hundred hours it's not a problem anymore (and they killed me a bunch of times anyway).

Only recently in Monster Hunter World, the whole limping and suffering of some animals not even agressive toward you in the first place.
