I’m sure everyone who has played Shenmue unconsciously closes one eye while drinking from a can.

A couple of years ago my friends used to call me "Bayonetta" because of my haircut, so during that time i played along the joke and quoted the character or posed like her.

They still call me "witch" and i sometimes still follow the joke, but that's it.

My internal thoughts are spoken in B.J. Blascowitz's voice (from Wolfenstein: The New Order).

Actually, it's pretty fun to read all Era posts in his voice. Try it.

As a teenager I was so confused by Link's stiff running/weird half jog animation in Twilight Princess that I tried to see how it felt to run like it in the yard when no one was around lol. Same with Roxas and Sora's strange walking and running from Kingdom Hearts.

Other than that, not really tried imitating anyone else. The cute little Pauline skip thing she does in Mario Odyssey during the 'Odyssey, ya see' part of her performance is cute though. I'd try that if I was really bored.

Besides giving my friends the casual Shoryuken from time to time... The last character I imitated was Squall from FFVIII.

I sometimes imitate poses and stances because I wonder how it would look and feel in real life. The answer is always: awkward.

Last time I did it was actually not too long ago when I tried to imitate Ryu and Ken's iconic idle "bounce" from Street Fighter.

Five year old me got banned from a Wild West themed mini-golf course for bouncing on (and breaking) TNT boxes like Crash.

Me and my friends used to copy how characters jump in Counterstrike when we would play paintball

When I play with my dog I do like Jojo quotes/poses to freak him out because I'm a weeb, but never video game characters. I'm a man of culture after all.

Yes, I tried imitating Sonic's running pose a lot when I was a kid, it was pretty fun pretending that I was the fastest until I quickly run out of breath

And of course, I wouldn't forget to do a Crash 'whoa' impression :p

When I was in school and we were doing mock exams I used some fake blood to make a Squall scar on my face. It wasn't gross and messy it looked just like his. We were queued up to walk into the gym for the mock exam and one of the teachers shouted my name and I ignored her. Then she shouted my name again and I turned around and she told me to wash it off so I said no and walked into the exam. She later told me she didn't want me distracting people... But as far as I'm concerned they should be looking at their test paper and not at me *shrug*

Hi, yes, I am Sora from Kingdom Hearts. I befriend everyone I met. I am writing this post in somebody’s basement. They won’t let me out but I’m sure light is in their heart so surely they will let me out. Or my friends will help me. Maybe...

I love Dante's hairstyle in DMC4, so I tried to copy it. But I had a lot of trouble getting my hair light enough, it never turned out to my liking, so I gave up eventually.
Haha, I tried to do my hair like Ruenheid in NoA but the curls were way too much effort.

I also once tried to climb up a building after playing Assassin's Creed. Kind of stopped pretty quick though.

Me: "Son, it's time to go to bed."

Son: "You can't make me."

Me: "You've got ten seconds to beat it before I add you to the list of NSF casualties."

Wife: "HEY!"
