It very much depends on the line though, the ones in the OP are pretty cringey outside of the NIN one imo. Toilet/shit bars almost always suck.

There's a whole world of difference between how sex is portrayed in The Downward Spiral, which is a crucial part of the fucked up protagonist's state of mind (I mean, I'd say Reptile in general is more gross although less "in your face" than the chorus of Closer) and random lines along the lines of "lol, look at me, I have sex and it's awesome".

Like, if the song itself is sexy.

Or if it's about portraying a character (like for example Nine Inch Nails) and the lyrics add something to amplify that state of mind.

Or if it's Prince, who automatically makes everything sexy by just being himself.
