Do you think rating how attracted you are to someone on a 1-10 scale is wrong?

I personally don't do the number rating thing. It just feels like I'm evaluating an item or product.

You either are or are not attracted to someone. What would the number even be to where you are vs are not?
I think rating your level of attraction to somebody is different than assigning an actual numerical rating to a human being.
It is a toxic mindset because it inherently ranks people as you would a game and is casually dehumanizing.
Just as video game review scores poison video game discourse so do "attractiveness numbers" poison casual discourse.
Also just like video game review scores it's not a 1-10 range but a 7-10 range because everyone knows deep down it's rude to refer to someone as a 1. So you already feel the shame of doing it, you're just in denial.

Yes, reducting people to numbers and "grade reviewing" people with numbers IS objectfying people. No, I don't care if your review-of-products wired brain think you need to grade people for some reason, that's still objectfying.
