I've gotta say, child abuse fantasies like this are totally apart from the normal range of terrible gamer shit. Plenty of people are rightfully fine if a sexy-fantasy game or even full-on pornography sim is made for adults and presents adult-age characters, but the stuff here steps confidently into sinister territory.
When someone defends those aspects of it, and "plays dumb" about designs unequivocally structured to look like children, I know what they are.

I don't think it being exclusive to Asia is against the ToS. It's not unsearchable because of its sexual content, it's because of the region lock. There are other games that have no sexual content at all that you can't search for either if you don't live in Japan/Asia.

For those who follow the DOA series and the developers it is a known fact that 18 is the magic number they use to bypass their blatant use of loli imagery nothing more nothing less. Hell you know the close up face zooms that all supers do on characters? guess which of the characters the developers forceably disable the zoom-ins on and admitted to doing for the fans that didn't like seeing these particular underaged characters violently shown getting their faces smashed in
And yet characters like Eliot and Ayane are the exact same age as them yet aren't immune to close ups of them being punched in the face.....Its pure pedo pandering no matter how you sugar-coat it.

Japan has definitely a few questionable fetishes that are unique to their culture and society, fair representation or not.
I don´t know any other country with an more or less open "schoolgirl/lolita" fetish which is downright celebrated as seen with maid cafes and even more questionable shops.

I don't think its particularly on topic so I don't plan to debate this much further except to say there is a very clear fetishization of teenage bodies and sexuality in the USA as well, or even younger. Last time I checked some years ago, the main characters (can't remember their names) are 16-17 in the Japanese version but edited to be 18 or 19 in their bio in the Western releases. Also, about that Kanna character, they're obviously pointing at something with her being 1014 years old...
This game is and always has been softcore porn. I don't play it, a lot of people don't play it, but some people do and should call it what it is. If you're shocked by it but you must be new to the game industry because this game has been on that radar for a long time.
Actually, if I recall, they used to remove Kasumi's age from international releases because she was originally 16.
For a lot of people, the concern is more about the growing number of characters designed to look/behave like children. That's different from just complaints about AO-targeted games. And the child-abuse fantasy stuff being in a relatively mainstream franchise (even if the specific title isn't) is rightfully eye-catching.
I know they were "aged up" but I thought they did a small time skip or retcon to artificially make them over 18. I say "artificially" because it was clearly just twisting technicalities to make them legal without changing anything.
These changes possibly only being in Western releases is even worse IMO. Because that suggests to me that they think the problem isn't their characters, it's Western attitudes towards them. And that's fucked up.

Thats exactly what it is. The fact that the same company that would censor a character like Marie Rose in zoomed in close up shots squinting in pain when hit by a super even though shes apparently skilled fighter to "protecc the loli waifus" but A-OK with soap suds barely covering her underdeveloped tits pretty much proves their intent for the character and the rest of the " 18 not 18 year olds".
On a similar topic they just revealed Kula DOA6 gameplay on a stream and what a koinky dink...she too doesn't get the face zoom when a super is performed on her but Mai does...wonder why
Nah, he's wrong, a time skip did happened in DoA4. There's is no difference in ages between the Japanese version of games and the western version now.

Screens from this game would be insta banned on pretty much any social media, it's like they're really trying to see how far they can take things before someone stops them. I guess they've noticed where the money is, normal dlc probably sell a lot worse than these explicit costumes.

It's hard for me to gauge the ages of the characters. They just look like anime characters to me. Regardless of their ages this shit is terrible though.
