Does anyone have a Viper autostarter?

I'm looking into getting one, but I'm not sure if I should go with the app or physical key fob.

If I go with the app, what happens if I don't have a signal in the car or on my phone? Will it resort to Bluetooth or an I just out of luck? For anyone with the app, how's the performance been?
