Does Wii Shop Channel have exclusive gems?

The confirmation that the channel's ending by end of 2018 got me wondering: What's on there that's a treasure that can't be attained elsewhere? I'd happily dust off my old Wii and hear that GOAT shopping music again a few more times before the channel's shut down. Any overlooked must-snag releases there?

Is CC My Life as King/Darklord dependent on online play? Or can I still enjoy majority of those games' offerings even if they end up with a dead online commmunity/server?

From what I recall the online aspects were mostly just DLC. You can play the games entirely on your own.

Seconding Life as a King, I really had a lot of fun with it. Its a nice little town simulation game.

Nintendo made some surprisingly quality stuff for the service as well. Other than the obvious choices (Dr Mario, Pokemon Rumble, Excitebike), I recommend the artstyle series, Eco Shooter Plant 430, and You, Me And The Cubes.
