I kind of got distracted off the dumb tweet by the kid's costume.
I guess American cops really are frightening.

Lol, just further proof that the GOP don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

No social democrat would ever want that kind of socialism in North America, stop being fucking obtuse.

Socialized healthcare and a more basic redistribution of wealth and proper taxation structure does not equal 1980s Poland for fuck's sake...

[seriously, NOBODY is advocating for that, STFU already you STUPID FUCKS]

DJTJ loves exploiting his children to zing the libs. I forget the context but he once posted something like "how dare you try and criticize Donald Trump, don't you know he has grandchildren that love him??" along with (iirc) the same girl in the OP with a MAGA hat on.
Your post made me realize that "DJ TJ" would be a sick DJ name.

The kid is going house to house asking for free candy. If she thinks she is entitled to that candy and she shouldn't have to share it then that's a terrible lesson.

Wouldn't socialism be all kids gets even amount of Candy? I could be way off, but this just reads like Right wing fear of the rich having to help others.

All kids collect as much candy they can to their ability, and then they share it and help out those who had a smaller bag, or got tired, or wasn't allowed to trick or treat. Because they are human beings feeling solidarity with each other. And if they get sick from eating to much candy and have to go to the hospital, they won't get financially fucked.

The only way to make this experiment work is make one child in charge of who shares what and who gets it, and give them opportunity to help those their responsible for or abuse power to help themselves.

I'm not convinced that the granddaughter of the POTUS was allowed to just go trick or treating in the first place.

Last night, a family with two young little girls came by for treats. One was a baby being pulled in a wagon that couldn't even walk yet, and a toddler who could walk but not talk much.

The toddler came up to me to get candy in her bucket. Then she looked back at her baby sister, and held out her bucket again. After giving her a second treat, she walked back to her sister, took the second treat out, and gave it to her. She's barely old enough to form rational thoughts and she already loves her sister and wanted to make sure they both got candy.

It was the sweetest thing. Those children will grow up to be much better people than the poor Trump child ever will with those kinds of "lessons." That's how you raise a narcissistic sociopath.

Seems like a better way to teach your kid about resenting rich capitalist assholes who take half your candy in the name of Purpose A, but just eat it all themselves after you go to bed.

Why didn't Donny Jr. say he is a person creator, and he therefore gets all of the candy his daughter worked for except 1 piece, and she is lucky she can have that.

That's not what socialism is and he probably knows that. But he has to dumb it down to the most simplest level because the people who listen to him are simpletons themselves and wouldn't understand how socialism actually works. Also, fuck this guy. I feel bad for his daughter.

You know, sometimes people make stupid remarks. Sometimes they make an error in judgement, other times it's a matter of perspective, misguidance or delusion. Very, very rarely, it's just dumb and nothing more than that. This is just dumb. No other words are needed. Dumb.

Sigh, it always frustrates me that many people (especially in America) oversimplify socialism and think it's the devil. It has is issues yes, just like capitalism does. It bothers me even more when they're quick to quote how socialism has failed in N countries, but you can also make the same argument about N countries in Africa, Latin America, etc. As if some of the bad things that happened while a country was "socialist" is exclusive to socialist countries.

Obviously what Trump Jr did is plain stupid.

I like to have faith that there's a decent, kind Trump in the family. Somewhere. Maybe a cousin?

I met someone like this once and while they attended a prestigious university (they loved to talk about it all the time), it became very clear very quickly that they had basically paid their way through and learned absolute fuck all during their time at said university.

For some people, saying they attended a prestigious university is more noteworthy than actually learning anything. It's yet another status symbol among many.

And in the near future, he will be teaching her about the consequences of treason as he walks into the FBI headquarters in D.C. That will end up being a far more accurate and valuable lesson for her.

Nothing like putting kids in costumes where they can't grasp the actual reason you put them in it.

Wouldn't the act of trick or treating be considered Communism?

Then what would the free kid who got candy from someone be? Would. There have been a reason to justify why? (Being sick, crippled, parents didn't let them out because too young and the parents couldn't make it, ect).
