Trump says alot of stupid things while Lex is more grounded in his approaches.
Lex is an EXCELLENT business man while Trump has a lot of failed businesses.
Lex is great as foreign policy (he worked with The Light in Young Justice.

When he's not hell bent on undermining Superman, Lex can occasionally be a decent human.

Lex fucking Luthor actually gave a shit about the country. He put on a battle suit and fought alongside the Justice League to take down Imperiex. Without question Lex.

Trump makes fake Time covers of himself.

Lex Luthor took forty cakes. He took 40 cakes. That's as many as four tens.

And that's terrible.

Lex Luthor is one of the smartest men on the planet, his issue is that he tends to place himself above humanity. But, he still believes he has humanity's best interests at heart. So, if forced to pick between two evils I'm going to pick the smart man who isn't a racist and believes in science.

How was his presidency, all in all? Outside of the super-villain " must destroy Supes" shit, how was he?

Lex Luthor - Wikipedia

" His first action as president is to take a proposed moratorium on fossil-based fuels to the U.S. Congress. "

So, not bad!?

" Soon after Luthor discovers evidence that leads him to conclude Clark Kent is Superman, the 2001 Our Worlds at War saga begins, in which Topeka, Kansas is destroyed in an attack by the alien Imperiex. Luthor is warned of the impending attack beforehand but alerts no one so Earth can enter a great war and he can prove his leadership to the world. Luthor coordinates the U.S. Army, Earth's superheroes, and a number of untrustworthy alien forces to battle the main villain of the story arc. Although Lex Luthor is able to devise a plan to destroy Imperiex's body, the plan is subsequently hijacked by Brainiac 13, requiring Superman to propose a new plan where Darkseid and Luthor coordinate their efforts to defeat Imperiex by sending him back in time. "

Oh. Well, still. At least he had an actual teacher as his Secretary of Education (Black Lightning).

Lex is sort of Lawful Evil - he's undoubtably a bad person, but he's not a deranged idiot playing games with pandemics and nukes, so he's got that going for him.

Do you get a composite version of Lex Luthor? Red Son had him recover the USA from the brink.

Still seems like he could be an amazing president in a world where alien threats and such don't exist.

Lex just hates Superman. Trump hates all of us.

Lex would probably have discovered a vaccine for corona virus by now too.

This boils down to whether or not you want your evil leaders to be competent in their attempts to destroy the world.

The orange man hasn't juiced himself up on Venom and liquid Kryptonite and sold us to a multiversal death goddess has he?

I only know Lex as a cartoon villian so I was gonna say Trump since Lex is smart enough to enact evil plans.

But it seems he actually seems ok judging by other posters?

Lex may be evil, but I don't see him fucking over 2/3 of the country because they didn't vote for him. Without Superman in the picture, he might even actually be somewhat of a decent person. Hell, in Red Son, he actually had the best interests of the American people in mind. Plus, he actually is a genius, unlike a certain orange shitbird.

Don't even have to think about it, wtf. America would probably be a paradise if Lex was president in a universe with no Supes.

In the comic 'Red Son', Lex brings the US back from the brink and turns it into a superpower even in the face of Supes' and his influence to every other nation on earth. So yeah, I'd vote for Lex in a heartbeat.
