DONTNOD Entertainment just released a PR of their first earning results as a public company. It's all in French and no english PR will likely be released so I'll translate all the good bits of it.

- Consolidated revenue is up +5% compared to H1 2017, going from 4.4M€ to 4.7M€.
- Operating income is massively down from +1617K€ in H1 2017 to -607K€ in H1 2018. This is due to them now having five teams in full scale production.
- Net result is of -1033K€ in H1 2018 versus +1101K€ in H1 2017.
- Overall it's going as they expected it. They're suffering losses because of game development costs and with most of their games releasing toward the end of their semester (note that DONTNOD fiscal year goes from January 1st to June 30th, then July 1st to December 31st).
- Going public went very well from them. They've now got a capital of 31.6M€ with 27.7M€ available cash.
- Second semester is expected to bring significant revenue with the continuated sales of Vampyr (which had an excellent launch in June). They confirm again that the game is going to release on Switch as well to reach a broader demographic.
- Life is Strange 2 Episode 1 is off to an excellent start. They also mention the Metacritic score of 82+ and how it's superior to the first game, which makes them expect a big commercial success.
- The team is pursuing development of Twin Mirror for Bandai Namco to release in 2019. It will be separated in three episodes to ensure longterm sales.
- Finally, Project 6, 7 and 8 are still planned for 2020 to 2022. Project 6 is made for an unnamed publisher.
