This has been poppin up around the Internet last couple days. Its a new way to play DOS games, right from your Web Browser!!

Not only that, but each game now has tailor made custom Gamepad controls, so you can play these games with your controller with no hassle at all!! The sites creator said that more games will be arriving soon, heres what is coming soon:

Would be cool if I could host a private version of this and add copies of the full games I own.

You might want to keep an eye on webRcade: webЯcade (webrcade.com)

It doesn't have DOS game support yet (ScummVM is coming next), but it already supports a lot of different platforms (Atari 2600, NES, GBA, PlayStation etc.) and can either load games directly from a cloud storage provider or be deployed as a docker container. The developer is also pretty responsive and open for specific feature requests.

Retro Game Corps had some videos showing it:

This is cool! Never had any idea what I was doing in Lost Vikings. I mostly just remember the axe throwing game that always ended badly for me. Wonder how Speedball 2 would feel.. one of the few games I can't imagine anything other than keyboard on.

now remembered how awful the remake of speedball 2 was

edit: seems like it has keyboard support

Been playing Commander Keen.
Ran out of lives, and the game lets me just keep continuing.
Infinite continues standard?

Edit: Never mind. Got a game over after several more deaths.

Man I remember playing Supaplex on a random floppy disk I got somewhere. I've been thinking about for years but had no idea how to find it, as I didn't remember many details. Cool shit

This is pretty neat, but i think it's not just that the thing has controller support, it's that it ONLY supports the controller? Mouse and keyboard didn't work at all in Doom and hilariously as soon as I hit Ctrl+W it closed the browser tab.

EDIT: Wait, I'm a dumbass. It DOES work, I just apparently forgot how to play Doom. (Not WASD and no mouselook, arrow keys to turn and shoot, you idiot.)

This is terrific. One of the biggest problems with DOS game emulation has always been controls, so having someone come in and create custom profiles on a game-by-game basis is exactly what was needed.

DOS_Deck has got a major update recently, changing how the site operates. Moving forward, the site will be accessing games from the Internet Archive instead of hosting them directly, meaning they no longer host any of the games shown.

What this means is their plan moving forward is to allow users to make custom lists of DOS games on their machine to play them accessed from the Internet Archive hosting them by adding them via links. The site will also eventually allow adding your own personal collection of DOS games to DOS_Deck on your personal computer in the future.

The following games have been added to the site now:

- Duke Nukem 1
- Duke Nukem 3D
- Raptor
- Rogue
- Bio Menace
- Skyroads: Xmas Special
