Hello, we have three guilds going that I know of. I'm pretty sure the main focus is to get points, but also to have fun and participate. If you have your own guild DM me and I'll add to the list. ---- elevated gains for people performing extremely well, anyone stomping multiple games in a row will be moved to a more appropriate mmr more quickly

---- core and support mmrs will somewhat bleed into each other, you will make small gains in one when when playing the other.

---- considering one-time paid option for ranked access, considering some kind of incentive for hard supports

Our hope is that by the time the first DPC league concludes, travel limitations will be more predictable and spontaneous restrictions will be less likely, thus allowing for Majors with cross-region competition to happen. We are also operating under the assumption that the most likely outcome is for The International to happen in Stockholm in August 2021. While we have other countries as backups, we recognize that fans would be upset if we moved it to another location if the time savings weren't meaningful enough.

We've also been ramping up our banning of booster accounts, as we've improved detections systems in recent months and gained more confidence in the ability to ban for it. In the past 30 days we've banned over 14000 accounts, and have set up systems to continually ban for boosting moving forward. This is an area however that needs constant work and improvements to not stagnate, and some of this will benefit from more advanced detection methods that are also in early research/experimental stages.

In terms of toxicity and game ruining behaviors from players, we are working on a new Overwatch style system, similar in some ways to that of CS:GO. We aren't ready to share more information about this yet, but we will as soon as we are able. We are hoping to get this in the game as soon as possible.

For this season, we are going to try a new approach to MMR resets. We are making the MMR reset optional, and for those who want to participate, we instead spread it out so it doesn't create too much volatility at the same time (ontop of the volatility that already exists when you enter calibration). We hope this will remove most of the downsides of MMR resets, and let the people that really want to do it be able to do so in a little bit more of a stable environment.

Big changes, website out of beta

Starting today, smurfing will be a bannable offense. We will primarily focus on new accounts created after today for which we have high confidence in their smurfing and game-ruining behavior. Moreover, we will also occasionally manually ban old pre-existing accounts that are clearly game-ruining. Furthermore, if you are found to be selling accounts, boosting or engaged in similar game ruining behaviors, your primary account may also be subject to a ban. To go along with this, we've recently increased our ban rate for boosters and purchased accounts.

After that, we're aiming for the Friday following the Singapore Major as the day the next update ships. The 7.29 update will include the next hero as well as a balance-focused gameplay update.

From the 15th of July, they will allow an audience of 3.000 people, but only if it is in an outdoor venue (such as a sports arena).

Events indoors can only have an audience of 300 people. As of now, the government is unlikely to change these guidelines, as the next step (no cap on attendance) won't be taken until September.

The remaining 6 teams will be, as usual, determined by the Regional Qualifiers, where each region will compete for one final slot. The Regional qualifiers will be distributed over a longer period of time to allow for teams competing in the major to respect their respective countries' quarantine processes. The dates for each qualifier are as follows:
EEU and SA: June 23-26
NA and SEA: June: June 30-July 3
CN and EU: July 7-10

The International Main Event itself returns August 10 - 15, live from Avicii Arena.
