Hopefully they can do something with the meta data, like if certain players are getting hundreds of avoids it can be linked to player bans.

Supposedly the biggest problem is that it can still have a high impact on queue time.

I have always advocated for that system but with :
- a limit in how many people can be in that list at a time and/or how many people you can add every game ( but make it easy to remove people who isn't in your mmr bracket anymore )
- the ability to toggle on/off the fact that after x amount of queue time the matchmaking begin to ignore your avoid list

I know most people will use it thinking it will prevent playing with bad players, which will make climbing mmr easier; heck I know people who will use it every time someone speak russian in chat. But for me that functionality is more about making it less likely to have cancer game/chat; which is problematic enough that it should be available to every dota 2 player.

Because reporting people for communication abuse does.... not ... freaking... work Valve; and it's freaking painfull to report someone only to play with him the following game. ( and I'm 9800-10000 conduct rating, I can't imagine what it's like below that )

To be fair it's my ingame conduct rating. I'm an ass on skype/discord while I play, but while I have a hard time improving on that aspect, I rarely if ever complain in game to those randoms. Usually at worst I say how shit is someone who complained about me ( because if they die it's not their fault, obviously ), mute him, and forget about it.

I only watch Dota nowadays but I'm considering getting 100 levels just for the chance to get something rare and make a lot of steam bucks
Can you usually get your money back selling the items you get even if you didn't get anything rare?

You have to clutch the RNG or be stuck with 50 cent items.

I have waited 5 years for a new DP immortal, she gets very few cosmetics since that year that had the raven themed one, and they are usually hideous but I own every single item for her, even when I dont play dota for months I still get stuff for the heroes I like, I didnt mind playing the game for 3 weeks in february to get that dusa set from dota plus, so thats nice.

They really slowed down the sets, almost 80% of the new ones come during TI now.

Battlepass Ranked queue is full of people playing heroes they've never played before to secure Jungle challenged. It's a total mess. Easier to play normal or unranked at the moment.

Yapzor played so well both games, probably could have beat OG alone. :p

That whole second draft was weird, especially against a draft filled with stuns.
