An insanely fast DL fan artist created over 50 chibi design mockups for DL characters within a day, then posted 4 finished chibi characters within 5 hours of each other. I think they legitimately are trying to make one for every character based on some of their other tweets.
I would say at the very least grab the first two copies with a discounted Eldwater price, which you can unbind with Gold Keys later if you can't spare the Eldwater for a MUB'd one right now. I think one can be very useful, but if you don't absolutely need the ability right now you can wait on MUB-ing it. The biggest reason to grab it is for some late game (60s DPS Natalie or HBH Thaniel) or speedrun builds, which a new player usually doesn't need to worry about for a decent while.

Honestly, happy, haha. Truthfully, I haven't been too invested in this game. I've been playing on and off. I think, if I were saving for anniversary for a while, I'd be a little more upset. I was able to get a good bit of stuff I didn't have before since I don't play as much anymore, though. Got Siren, Agni dupe, Konohana, Takemikazuchi, Summer Cecilia, and Student Maribelle.
So, uh, it appears that Summer Verica's life leech effect causes Dragonyule Nefaria's flurry freezer... to freeze Nefaria? So I guess keep an eye on that for anyone else with an on hit skill. Ezelith perhaps?

I think it's worth having multiple copies, but in most cases one is enough.
I have 2 and planned to use keys on them.

I was really hoping we would have received a new "What's Next" by now, detailing what's to come next month (and whether we'll be getting a new story chapter or not). It could still come, but it feels like forever since we last got one. Re-run events feel a lot more frustrating when you don't have something new to look forward to, though we know for sure next month will be full of fun stuff considering it's the anniversary. I just wish I had an idea of what to expect, even if it was just a little.
As someone who missed a lot of this stuff the first time round, I'm fine with all these re-runs. I do wonder how many people, like me, jumped in around the Fire Emblem crossover, and whether or not that's affecting their event strategy.

Also, while I've now pulled Navarre, Prometheus and three V!Ezeliths, I still haven't pulled V!Orion. I'm not going to chase him, but it's a mild frustration.

I'm fine with it because we just had Summer and Valentines-- even though is a rerun -- also doubles as new void battles. It's just really more free wyrmmyte for the anniversary.
To be fair, a lot of the big big issues with the game have been addressed and now they are focussing on little fixes and QoL work.
Along with that, we have Anniversary work and I'm sure that there is work underway for Chapter 10, 11 and more along with a Spark system and further content for MG and the last High Trials.
There will be an expansion of the Halidom Grounds too to fit everything in - all these things take time to develop so they are probably waiting until all the ducks are in a row before telling us what they've been working on (which is likely to be all of the above and more)
With all the talk of Gala Cleo and how good she is for Mercurial Gauntlet, it appears there's a new totally OP MG character in town for those without Gleo: Valentine's Ezelith.
With the changes to status afflictions, V!Eze can easily keep Burn on the boss for the entire fight. This makes her an excellent 'buffer' even off element as you can then put Elegant Escort (the freebie V!Orion print from the event) on your main DPS and get that sweet +30% Burn Punisher active the whole time. People are posting some pretty silly clear times on reddit using V!Eze, like a Fire MG50 clear with 30 seconds left on the clock. (that one also used Gleo, but it gives you an idea of how much wiggle room you have to clear in if you don't have her)

While this is far from a definitive answer, there was a survey posted a few months back that had ~8% of respondents say that they started between April and June. Just going by that, the FE event didn't seem to bring in a ton of players who stuck around afterwards. There's actually been a downward trend of new players since launch, but again, that's only based on one survey's quarterly data and not the playerbase as a whole including more casual players who didn't know about or didn't bother to respond to the survey.
Oh I know, I'm not too worried. I guess I just want something to look forward to right now, especially with more and more re-runs happening (though the summer event was nice). You know, carrot on the stick and all that, haha.

It's out before the CD? I thought they'd release at the same time to bundle and save on shipping. Oh well, it's cheap enough, I'll just order it separate then.
I just bundled mine together in one order. I'm okay with waiting an extra week or so to save a few bucks.
I might do that or just bite the bullet and pay the additional cost. I'm going back-and-forth, haha.
With the affliction changes, a ton of affliction characters got higher DPS; Rena is now above Mikoto, Pazuzu is better than Zephyr for Poision inflictors, Elegant Escort is now the best Wyrmprint for Fire affliction users, Fleur is now 3rd best Light DPS, almost as good as Odetta (plus having a much better co-ability) on top of what Parshias said about V! Ezelith being a great DPS buffer. Hope folks didn't sell their first or second Elegant Escort, since they're meta prints now. I'd say the change was quite positive because no affliction-user became absurdly OP, just more on par with their peers now, making a lot more stuff competitive instead of severely-lacking.

I think Fleur is in a weird place right now. Her damage is really good if the enemy starts at 0% resist, but at the current highest MG levels paralysis res starts at 80%, and all of the high dragon trials so far are immune to any movement impairing afflictions, including paralysis.
Today was a lesson in patience...
Pulled my 4 Dailies - got3 5*stars which ended up being Ramona (New), Prometheus (now 3UB) and Nidhogg (now MUB) - I was hoping for Shinobi but I guess these will do... -_-

In Hindu mythology, Vayu is Agni's brother, which explains the similarities, like how Hypnos and Thanatos use similar models and are siblings in Greek mythology.
Noelle has an S1 strength buff, but it only affects Wind adventurers. We're going to have to see what Victor's Damage numbers and SP costs are like before we can really stack him up against Addis. Victor's kit is entirely defensive outside of having bleed and two damage skills (along with a support classification instead of attack), so it's hard to say right now.
Folks who want more husbandos ought to show up for this showcase if they want to see more of them.
On my F2P NOTTE account, today's free daily deals yielded a dupe Xiao Lei and dupe Malka. At least I can post new fan art of them.

Holy crap, I just found about a super cool, somewhat hidden easter egg that I had no idea existed in the game!
So I was looking at adventurer quotes on Gamepedia and noticed that there was a "Home Screen Portrait" section. At first I didn't know what that was but then I remembered there was a 2D display preference setting in Options (which I never use) that replaces the dynamic 3D scenery and adventurers on the home screen with a simple portrait of the lead adventurer of the last team you selected. And sure enough, if you tap the portrait, it cycles through several lines of voiced dialogue in both English and Japanese that you can't hear anywhere else! :o

I saw someone mention it a good while back (not sure if it was here or Discord), but never again since.
New units looks terrific. Not happy about Addis likely getting replaced though. Wish they could have made Victor a different weapon type for some bleed synergy.
Addis is still Freeze resistant while Victor is for Bog content
