This was with Shadow Knight killed but only like ~4 minutes left when we killed the boss, I think. So it's possibly just random drops? (Or else, yeah, a first clear bonus.)

This was with Shadow Knight killed but only like ~4 minutes left when we killed the boss, I think. So it's possibly just random drops? (Or else, yeah, a first clear bonus.)
Alberts fine if he he has cupid.
I think this event probably shows off the issue with conditional groups though as 5.5k might and higher players are getting filtered into exclusive groups though (especially if they're light).

I now have a decently strong Alfonse on my F2P no pulls alt after building him a 5.3 weapon even while using Jupiter.
I can get reliable Clears with him even with someone dying early as long as there's a healer. We obviously aren't gonna get full Valor with a healer, but such is the life with pubs. I'd rather any clear than looking for the perfect setup, since those folks are usually also the first ones to leave when something isn't perfect, resulting in more wasted time. Even cleared with 3 people (Albert died early), one of whom was a Hope with unicorn to illustrate how doable Lunatic Alberian Front is.

I'd keep them separate right now so you can run them on all of your adventurers for the valor bonus and then MUB it after the event ends or you're finished farming. Don't bother using keys on it, as those are better saved for limited prints. But then, I guess all future limited prints will likely be purchaseable through the wyrmprint shop anyway, so keys aren't as valuable as they once ere (unless you have a limited wyrmprint from a prior event that may or may not get another rerun). If you really want to save the eldwater though you could use it after the second or third purchase, when the eldwater increases in cost a lot.

I think I've just about given up with the Alfonse fight. I just can't see to beat it and no co-op group I get put into lasts long. Even though I got my Ieyasu all the way nearly up to 5000, he still dies in one hit too. Doesn't help the controls just suck, one mis-swipe of the finger and you roll into a one-hit kill. And his moveset is so damn floaty.
If you're talking about Heinwald (Dark Staff), he's really good for the Lunatic Alberian Front, and a good healer for solo teams in general since he has good damage/heal output with no elemental disadvantage. We're not sure how he'll fare in High Jupiter yet though since it isn't released, so his endgame viability is still up in the air depending on how they design the boss fight.
Dragalia's endgame is all about hard boss battles like Veronica's Trial with the High Dragon Trials, so you've got a lot to look forward to if you haven't given them a shake yet.
Dunno if it can help, but have you tried to trinkle with the swipe sensibility under the game settings ?
At launch I had problem with this because little movement inputs on the screen resulted in dodge rolls. Cranked the sensibility down to 2 and since then I never found myself in a dire situation where I roll out of a safe space and going into an aoe attack.

Thats probably the case for all weapons specific wyrmprints. Need them.
the problem with that one is that only drops from hard story mode. is not something that you are going to farm normally (take advantage of this half stamina event!)
Oh okay...and thats one of many wyrmprint so you would have to be quite lucky to get this drop during your hard-mode story run.
Welp....mabye ill get lucky down the line.
is not SO important though. usually you dont go dragon 3 times in a quest to take full advantage of the print. only with many dragon preps on raids or somehing like this event.
A MUB Lindworm has been great for clearing out the large right flank in the 3rd wave with a single dragon skill (and helping with getting into 5k+ Might requirement rooms).
You just need a character that can self heal throughout. Either a heal ability like Alfonse's individual S2 / Odette's nearby team S2 or using "The Heroes Arrive" wymprint's doublebuff healing regen with a defense boost skill like Juiletta's individual S2 or Ryozen's team S1. Without those methods of healing; then yeah, Cupid is a must.
Someone on reddit did the math comparing (I don't remember where the post is since it was a reply to a thread and not its own topic) the extra 10% skill damage from D&T vs the 8% critical rate from RR and found that you needed to have an absurd amount of your DPS coming specifically from skills in order for D&T to win out. It was something like 70%+ and it was well above even the current most skill damage dependent character in the game. (Albert)
So D&T ends up holding itself back because it has a 'useless' second skill while the extra 10% skill damage isn't enough on its own to outdo RR.
You're trading 10% Skill Damage for 8% Crit Rate.

For context, I played most of the Hard mode story during this event and I think only got one significant print drop- New World Escort, which is 4*.
So the rates seem quite low for getting anything at all from story mode. I will say with the IO ones at least I'd hold off on buying them before you need them, as I've already gotten a few 5*s (Levin's Champion and Flash of Genius) and that's with not focusing as much on IO for the past week or so. But story mode seems unlikely to be worth farming compared to just paying for them, unfortunately.
Yeah, I'm ready, if I pull a new 5 star I'll shit a brick because odds are not in my favor.

You can't get the newer heroes with that ticket. They only updated it once and added 5* units that were released until that point (Lily, Naveed, Lucretia and Louise I think). So everything since then can't be pulled.
I am not sure if I will use the ticket immediately or wait until they update the pool again. From the newer ones I am missing most, basically everyone except Laranoa. So my odds of not getting a dupe can only increase.
I just pulled Hawk on a single pull as well! He's one of 4 Adventurers with 100% Freeze Resist so he's going on my Water IO team with Aeleen. That's about the only use I can think of.
Soon I have every Adventurer I own at 30+ manacircle. I only need to read through all those stories then! xD

I am sitting down and read a few of them now and then. And I switch between characters after 1-2 of the same character. Imo mixing is better, also gives a bit of a feeling of being in this big castle where also those people are. Because of the sheer amount of stories I actually prefer the non 5* ones because those aren't voiced and therefore take less time to get through. xD
Recommend saving it if odds are against you and you don't really need The eldwater. Unless there's a character you really want in there, might be better to wait and see if they'll add more characters.
Also just realized from now until the end of the event all gathewings will be going to the alberian front and I should finish all valor rewards on pretty much the last day.
9/13 odds of a dupe.... <_< but the gambler in me says to roll it anyway and curse the unit i pull.
Something I just learned with Marth's S2. If you're at phase 3 with the team attack speed and strength buff, you can intentionally miss your S2 to keep it at phase 3 every time you cast it, since it only changes if an attack connects. No idea if that's intentional, but here's a clear vid of a Lin You hitting a 360-hit combo utilizing that in HMC.
I assume I am not the only one who signed in and got their last tenfold summon freebie only for it to not actually be working? I collected it from my goodie box but it's not available when I go to summon.
