Yeah I am annoyed, people are literally upset that the developers tried to do something different than the norm, and that kinda gets to me, because I love the fact that they are trying to be different. It just so happens to be female characters. But anyways I'll just respond to this by posting the same thing i did to someone else.

2. The devs clearly wanted the androids to showcase their teamwork capabilities. Considering 17 has been in more fights than 18, it would only make sense that he be a solo character, while 18 shows off the teamwork niche that they are known for.
3. Can Videl even shoot a ki blast? Also she's been in what, 2 fights total? Why would people want a bland fighting style that they would have to have made up on the spot, when they can provide us without another teamwork character to make her more than just a simple punch punch character(which this game DEFINITELY suffers from)

Man, it's almost like they had Toppo spell out the part where Jiren's whole edgy no-personality thing was a big facade to justify the fact he was too terrified and full of trust issues to reach out for the help he needed to deal with his PTSD and survivor's guilt. And that Jiren is actually a dopey smiley dork once Goku and Toppo help pull the layers off.
But yeah, let's keep rolling the Jiren had no character memes out.
At this rate, when they'll add Zangya, her super will be to be killed by her boss so she gets replace by a superior, male character.

Videl plus Great Saiyaman is EXACTLY what I wanted! Now, to get Kid Goku and my life is complete.
Yeah, it kinda sucks, but it's the only way it was gonna make sense in Videl's case. Plus, Great Saiyaman is awesome, and this was the best way to implement him.
Videl is an incredibly misogynistic character. She exists solely to be Gohan’s perfect little wife and get brutalised on screen so he can get upset. Beyond that all she contributes is a recurring joke of “haha, look, she thinks she’s strong, lol!” that we’re probably supposed to find cute. She’s pretty much the worst you can make a female character in that genre.
Videl being a solo fighter would be a betrayal of everything that character stands for, and no one should be surprised by this. Because Videl is the perfect distillation of the misogyny inherent to Dragonball, a misogyny which has only recently begun to be examined with the ToP.
Gine will be in it, with her design from the new Broly movie. But she has no moves so she'll just chop meat while nu-Bardock fights.
It's almost like her Super on Budokai where she gets spanked and Gohan saves her lmao It's just bizarre

SSJ Gogeta literally had 10 seocnds of screen time and threw space dust.

It honestly feels like they wanted to make Saiyaman with Videl as an assist but they switched to give more female representation.
I mean you aren't wrong, but my point was that won't happen because FighterZ is more about being "true" to the series in terms of character attacks.
