yeah, even the trunks arc didn't look great except for a few standout episodes.
ToP really made the rest of the show look bad and ToP wasn't even perfect at all.
....Super is such a hard thing to rank.
I enjoyed it, but retrospectively man so much was bad.
It would've been great to get the Future Trunks arc with ToP's animation and less weird pacing with all the retreats and repeats, while maybe getting a few more characters involved. That would've mixed the best of everything imo.

I think his paneling in the recent chapters has been pretty decent.
I am so bitter that they chose him to do the manga instead of others who are actually good like dragon garrow lee.
I think like a 3D movie retelling of the original dragon ball story would be cool but they've done a retelling in like 2 different movies at this point so I don't really expect it.
Dayum. Imagine if you could watch an on OG Dragon Ball series that looks like that.

I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to remastering but is it a hard thing to do or is Funi just incompetent?
All I want is a proper remaster that's not cropped to hell with Broadcast Audio. I'd pay good money for it but it's never going to happen :(

The Japanese audio on every home release has been super low quality, but a fan had the original broadcast audio and released it online 2 or so years back.
How badly has Toei bungled their master tapes that a 25-30-year-old fan recording off tv has higher-quality audio? :lol
After the initial broadcast in Japan, Toei destroyed the original audio master, so the only audio Toei have is the crappy mono audio that's stored on the film reel. That's why when you watch a clip of the Japanese dub it sounds like it was recorded 30 years earlier than it actually was.
Thing is though that thanks to some home recordings of the original broadcast the high quality audio now exists online.
