Was going to grind for TEQ Super Buu to raise the SA of my PHY Super Buu I pulled. Did 4 runs, got 1 drop, awakened / dokkaned him, did not level up PHY Super Buu. Got mad, not doing that anymore! Too many damn TEQ guys that I'm plum dry on awakening medals.
Here are the ways to level up supers:
-Elder Kai (or Santa Roshi around the holidays)
-Exact duplicate unit - Do not do this if your card is SSR or higher, as you'll get more benefits using that duplicate in the Potential System.
-Card with the same name as yours (for instance the farmable TEQ Super Buu in the "Pure Destruction and Carnage" event can be used to raise the SA of the summonable PHY Super Buu). This does not always have a 100% success rate. The success rate is impacted by the rarity of the card you're training and the card you feed it. The card does need to have the exact same name, so you can't use Super Saiyan Goku to level up Super Saiyan God Goku. This is the preferred way to level up the SA of a card if it's applicable, since there are a lot of farmable supers out there.
-Soon, there will be Kais in the game that allow you to level up the super of a card of a certain type, like AGL only or TEQ only. That's not available yet in Global.
In regards to your team composition, it all depends on what kinds of leaders you have. For a long while, mono-type teams were the go-to. There are a lot of great units with leader skills that benefit only a certain type (for instance Super Vegito gives +3 Ki and 70% bonus HP, ATK, and DEF to all AGL units). So with that, you'd make an AGL team with Super Vegito as your leader. If you're trying to do certain events, you can either try to power through with a mono-type team, or you can make a mixed team if you have a good leader for it (like a category leader or SSB Vegito or Goku Rose).
