I found him useful when I first got him with his party heal . Afterwards, he's pretty much only useful in the post game.So Sylvando is kind of...lame in battle? Everyone else is ahead of him and none of his skills are super useful yet.

I gotta say, this is small congratulations, but given the state of RPGs at the moment I'm so thankful as (as far as I know) the game never does anything creepy with the fact Veronica is an adult in a little girl's body.
I loved the game but I skipped all those type of sidequests after the second one.How many more of these "defeat a specific enemy with this specific pep power" sidequests are there? They're so goddamn frustrating.
Just switch out each of the relevant people when they get pepped. I didn't find any of those early ones very annoying; some of the later act 2 ones took a little more time but it's fine enough.
good prep for grinding strats too, if you ever need that
I only have five characters so far, so I can't switch out everyone I need to pep up. I've tried that strategy once but the protagonist got pepped up early and ran out of juice before I could get to the specific enemy I needed to Pep kill.
Made it to Zwaardsrust last night and I've officially been forced to mute the music to retain my sanity.

Not a ton, but they're pretty easy if you simply just wait to do those quests when the relevant party members are pepped up. Just swap them out until you find the enemy in question.
When do I get a sixth character? I imagine fairly soon if I just got to Zwaardsrust, since every major town seems to mean at least one new character.

Good. I'm feeling like the party is seriously lacking a heavy hitter aside from Veronica right now. Erik is surprisingly weak and Signore Italiano feels more like a buffer/debuffer than an outright damage dealer.
Erik was my heavy hitter as well. Use divide with critical claim did a number on bosses. How do you have Erik set up?
He always did the most damage for me. Status effect target, debuff target, buff him, knife attack that multiplies when there's status effects. When Divide's in the mix, can use it to have a better chance of him applying the statuses and then again to do even more damage.
Of course, I often spent too much time caring about setting it up. But it decimated bosses, so.
I believe you'll need to farm a bit for skill seeds for some characters as they won't have enough even at max level. Though I'm not sure which characters or where you farm them.
Beyond that, obviously you get more points per level the higher you go, so there's that. Plus it's not like everyone actually needs everything since you're probably focusing on one weapon. And if you're not doing so already, don't forget that you can use respeccing to be a little creative with what skills you have access to by going across trees.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...45t1_zMDCLpiw8pwB7y8fM3IKkA/htmlview?sle=trueThanks for the reply. If you find out where the location is for skill seeds let me know.
You're about 3 sections of game left from the end. Hard to judge time because I finished the game at level 51 in less time than you've played so far, doing just about all of the sidequests except the pep ones and a couple unreachable. How much longer do I have left until the end of Act 2 roughly?
So I've got a gap in recipe books, missing one right after the Drasilian Armor set.
Can someone point me in the general direction? Doesn't seem like a sidequest I missed.
I'll need to check when I get home but I don't think so because that location is before you visit Dundrasil. If this guide I found is ordered correctly... Is The Dapper Chap on the other side of the gap?
If so, it's at...
Octagonia orphanage
Same! Didn't know the bunny suit was in the casino, I didn't notice that in its prize lineup on first visit. Gambling means tons of saving and reseting which is a pain for when you're manually tracking time played, but if thats the place to get it then I'll just have ta get gambling away next time! That's my progress too more or less Lindsay
How are you sidequest wise? I've done all of them so far bar the bunny suit because I don't like gambling minigames haha.
