I adore the anime and I'm still heartbroken about the lack of a third season...
Now I really hope for dual audio in the western release!
The voice cast is the same as Dragon Quest Rivals so if you're curious about someone you can just look that up.

Yep, so like I said, IQ is a bit rough (especially round the hair), but otherwise pretty nice.
If that trailer is Switch footage it looks incredibly good for the system, maybe better than any other Switch game thus far. IQ didn't take anywhere near as much of a hit as I expected considering it's 900p on a base PS4. Of course, it is also the first Switch game that was announced so maybe that's to be expected.
More specifically, they gave Sylvando a voice for Fortune Street on PS4 just around the time XI came out in Japan, and then not too long before the English version they cast a few VAs for the DQ Rivals Mobile game.
It's UE4 and Epic has put in a ton of work on that engine for Switch

Looks like they opted to reduce the texture and model quality of the world in order to mostly maintain the character models and textures, that's the right call imo, the character and enemy models are some of the best things in DQ11 graphically.
glad i waited. this bodes well for square enix unreal 4 games with sLes potential on switch.
About what expected. Greatly reduced textures and maybe running from 720p-900p docked
The main problem they'll run into with this port is the cities, like BotW and XB2. Will be curious to see that when they show it off.
It's an absurdly stacked cast, yeah, but then again, it's DQ.
Erik is Sakuraba Neku and Roxas! I love his work. They are all amazing actors with a lot of big roles on their resumé!

DQXI is beautiful but UE4 is not always good.
Tekken 7 for example looks relatively rough compared to Namco's in house stuff.
We'll see how FF7 Remake turns out.

The producer just said there are many things that they can't say for now.
I wouldn't expect that since it's supposed to be a selling point for S.
games have been using face tracking for a while now.
this is just a comparatively lower-tech version it seems. there are apps to do this with most phones and webcams
