Today, on March 03, 2020, the exhibitor directory and floor plan site of E3 2020, hosted on, https://jna7jvmw5v11.mapyourshow.com/8_0/#/, went live and with it some details on what booth(s) the participating companies have reserved.

The site is currently sparse with visuals on the floor plans as well as booth dimensions. Full floor plans are expected to be made available in May. However, a list of all exhibitors/participating companies and connected booth(s) can easily be accessed via the following query:

Code:
https://jna7jvmw5v11.mapyourshow.com/7_0/exhibitor/exhibitor-list.cfm?export=pdf

Exhibitors and booths can be manually searched as well. For example, searching for "1601" returns the exhibitor entry for Square Enix, Inc. Below is the list in image format, and is representative of participating companies as of March 03, 2020:

Note: Microsoft will be participating at E3 2020 but will utilize its own Microsoft Theater instead of the Los Angeles Convention Center, hence why they are not on the list.

Hmm interesting.
Is it possible to draw out a map based on the limited data so far?

Comparing the two it looks like Nintendo will now be one of the first booths you see when you enter West Hall, replacing Sega, rather than being towards the back? And Sega's presumably nudged over to the left, could be that they'll flank the entrance

that or the numbers are random and don't matter

SXSW waited until a week before it was going to start (March 13th), and just cancelled today. E3 has some time to wait and see how things go before they make a final decision, but in fairness to exhibitors and attendees, they should give more notice than SXSW did. Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle also cancelled today, waiting until about a week before it was supposed to happen.

This will be my 21st E3. I love the show and am as stoked as ever. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled, but with a decline in developers attending plus virus fears, I could see it happening.

I made this video a few years ago. It shows some of the fun the be had at the show!

I give it until April. We won't see companies start dropping out until then. Even then, I think they'll go with no live audiences or pre-recorded stuff.
