Good. Who wants stupid money as the one piece? What a crap ending with no connection to the characters. Nobody except for nami care about wealth. And her real dream is to draw a perfect and complete map.
The average viewer thinks the one piece is a treasure chest with gold. No way Oda is so simple. This guy thinks everything a million times trough.
I just mean that many expect it to be gold like in everything pirate theme. The comment about it being an object is interesting.
I wouldn't mind it being another Poneglyph that explains what the fuck happened in the void century.

Where are you getting that from. I'm on at least 4 forums that discuss this manga in some capacity and nobody thinks it's a treasure chest of gold.
The majority of the fandom definitely do not think it's just gold or regular treasure.

One Piece is whatever thing they use to destroy the red line and unite the seas (and the world).
I really think this is true. There's gonna be some space alien nonsense and a reason why the Grand Line exists and a past apocalyptic event with the legendary weapons.
Protip: Space aliens already do exist in Enel's side story.

What's the most subscribed theory of what 'One Piece' is? Why and how did Roger have it, if it is 'powerful' why didn't he use it?
Also I understand that it's 'hidden' but its general location is known... So why is it going to be someone from the other side of the world who started with nothing who is going to reach it first? Beyond 'that's the point of the whole story!', what's stopping any of the other far more powerful pirate lords/gangs who are closer and with more means to find it?

Damn, I'm gonna cry like a bitch once this series ends. I've been following this series for over 15 years and has been a huge part of my life.
Because they don't have a Nico Robin.
Also two of the most powerful pirates are more or less at a stalemate, one doesn't seem to give a fuck about finding One Piece, and the final one is the main antagonist who definitely does have the ambition to get it, but it's not yet revealed as to how he would compensate for a lack of being able to decipher what he needs to.
The name of the One Piece's resting spot is known amongst the World Government/noteworthy pirates, but the actual location of the island (called "Raftel") is unknown.

Pangaea theory is my favorite too. It would also accomplish Sanji's dream of All-Blue, an ocean with all the world's fish.
Biggest Theory is that it is the resting place of all of Gol D Roger's treasure along with it being the resting place of the Rio Poneglyph (Robin's dream) that tells the true history of the world.
Roger reached/have Raftel because he was the first person to figure out what it takes to reach Raftel and found the importance of whats there, as stated Roger, Rayeligh and other Roger pirates know the history of the world.
Well why didn't they use it Roger himself was facing his death and couldn't do it so he decided to wait till one who could in the next generation/s, so other Roger pirates followed suit waiting till there was someone Roger was waiting for. Which is Luffy in Shanks mind.
SO why Luffy, alot has to do with the power struggle and World Events:
-Whitebeard prevented anyone even if they gathered all the Road poneglyphs from reaching Raftel as he watched over the "Throne" but never rested upon it, no one could really topple him.
-The Four Road Poneglyphs are all needed and all are separated
-Kaido took over Wano and has a Road Poneglyph and is searching for a way to read them through Momonouske and the Kozuki
-Big Mom ruler of Ttotland also possessed a Poneglyph along with having Pudding her 35th daughter and best daughter, a member (half Three eyed) of the three eyed tribe that once the true awakening happens gains VOATS along with the power to read the glyphs.
-Third one is uder the watchful eye of the Kozuki's and Minks at Zou
-The forth one has been lost to time and no one currently knows where it is.
-The power struggle of the world was violative yet in balance, non of the yonkos could really rage war and go all out without the other Yonkos coming in to stp it and the World Government couldn't do much to them in there territory without getting crushed themselves.
-Shit Dragon/the Revs themselves were gathering strength, power, and influence before they made there grand move.
All this changed with Whitebeards death who was lured/baited into coming to Marineford with Ace's execution... now:
-With Whitebeards death that left a power Vacuum in the Yonko system, which was filled by the Final Villain of the series Blackbeard aka Marshall D Teach who quickly took over Whitebeard territories thanks to his inner knowledge, but unlike Whitebeard he desires the throne so now that buffer is gone and he is out gathering stregth and power with finding Devil Fruits for his Ten Titans along with gathering powerful followers like Moriah.
-Without the buffer Big Mom and Kaido scheme to get stronger even more to get the throne or cause a great war
-Kaido using artificial Devil Fruit is/was creating an army of artificial zoans along with having forces from Wano under his command to use but that artificial army is on hold now due to the actions of Luffy and Law taking down CC and Doflamingo.
-Big Mom has been making more risky and powerful marriages to supercharge her forces and while the wedding between Sanji and Pudding didn't happen (though these two will get together in the future Blackleg-sanji1 Lotus ) Big Mom herself could have Germa tech and under her control depending on what happened at Totland when Luffy and co left. And would have been to raftel in the past if the Marriage between Lola big moms 23rd daughter and Prince Loki of Elbaf went through, not only repairing Linlins relationship with Giants but giving her power over the strongest army in the world.
-Since the war the Marines and CD's have appointed Sakasuki a totalitarian military leader with a your either for or against us attitude, who has since did a Marine draft for forces, expanded/invested greatly the military power and might of the Marines, expanded the influnece of said now darker military into the new world and probably has something to do with Vegapunks new science that seemingly will replace the Shikibukais along with whatever Im is planning to do.
-Revs after two years have taken over the South Blue 0r something, and now have gathered enough forces to make there declaration of War aganist the WG having not only Dragon shonen protagnist dad, but second in Command Sabo weilding Ace's will and Devil Fruit, the four commanders in Belo Betty, Karasu, Morley and Lindbergh along with other officers like Koala, Ivankov Inazuma and trying to get Kuma.
-Luffy now has one of the Road Poneglyphs due to his relations with Momonosuke Kozukis, his retainers and followers which he was able to get thanks to Robin on Zou, whom has now declared war on both Big Mom and Kaido and is currently in Wano working to take the World's Strongest Beast Kaido down with the Samurai Mink Pirate Alliance.

Besides we are still a week away with some major stuff beginning to happen not even before the festival starts, Eneis Lobby fighting itself was over one year.
I don't think the festival will be the climax of the story. I think it'll more or less be like the point where the Strawhats first meet Crocodile at the Casino in Arabasta.
