Both of these points are wrong. You didn't miss anything. It has nothing to do with post-BB and it's a mediocre show.

I feel you here, hopefully the quality is up to par for the movie as well. I am wary as I felt Breaking Bad had a pretty perfect ending but Vince Gilligan is pretty good at his craft. Not a story I wanted but neither was Better Call Saul and that's been incredible, so, looking forward to it
It has more than enough great stuff to just be mediocre, come on now.You didn't miss anything. It has nothing to do with post-BB and it's a mediocre show.

Anyone else feel like Skinny Pete sounded kinda dumber in the tv series? Feels like the actor forgot how Skinny Pete is supposed to speak.

How has BCS added anything of note to the post-BB timeline when the most shocking thing was actually a false alarm. It can be summed up in a few words: "Jimmy in Omaha, bored"

You do realize you haven't seen how that timeline ends...right? It shows both elements of how he's still Jimmy at his core and is longing for his former life, and also showing some actual BB timeline stuff with the color intro where he's freaking out in his office as Saul. It all adds to a larger picture of the character, which is what these shows are about. Cool. We got a single in color scene but that's still before BB ends. The rest have been way too drawn out for a show that has 2 seasons left. You do realize you haven't seen how that timeline ends...right? Hotest of hot takes right hereYou didn't miss anything. It has nothing to do with post-BB and it's a mediocre show.
In my opinion it adds to the tragedy of his character so I'd say it's added plenty so far.Cool. We got a single in color scene but that's still before BB ends. The rest have been way too drawn out for a show that has 2 seasons left.
As of RIGHT NOW it hasn't added much.
When is this supposed to take place? It's been like six years since the show ended and in real time it ended in 2008 or 9.
It's going to air on AMC eventually I thinkWhy is this on Netflix? Now I have to get Netflix even though I watch/watched BCS and BB on AMC? Bullshit
I agree with the bolded. I know some say that continuing in this universe is a waste of Vince's talents, but to me, there are so many possibilities. Having this contained world has allowed for so much fleshing out in both of the series so far, and it would really be an unprecedented thing to have it just continue on with show after show expanding it further and further.WE JUST CAUGHT UP ON BETTER CALL SAUL AND I LITERALLY SAID
yeeesh a movie on jesse, who cares about jesse now
jesus, this teaser reignited so much within me
RUN JESSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also, better call saul is fucking excellent. I want a breaking bad cinematic universe.

Breaking bad is the greatest thing ever recorded by a camera so I respectfully disagree.
I am stealing thispeople who call bcs "slow" or in this case "drawn out" are the cyberdemons of philistinism

Director and Writer
YupNot after it's most recent season, which was weaker than any season in BB.
BCS also meanders too often (which people sometimes confuse with slow pace, which isn't the same).
I thought so too, I normally think prequels are kind of crappy and feel contrived because of the baggage of what you already know. But BCS avoids all this and is a fantastic tv show.I'm sure it's a fine show. I'm just not interested in watching a prequel show.
Why? It's a pretty amazing spin-off with its own stakes. Some would argue that it rivals BB and I could see that. Give it a shot.Awesome. I haven't bothered to watch a single episode of Better Call Saul but I'm down for this.

This is what everyone thinks before they watch it. Myself included. But it really is much MUCH better than you think it'll be.I'm sure it's a fine show. I'm just not interested in watching a prequel show.
