Look what one second of Elden Ring in the tga hype trailer has spawned. Don't tell me you don't see it
lol the entire comment section is filled with Elden Ring only. It seems there are many people in high anticipation of it.
Does this not like almost confirm a new Elden Ring trailer, unless its inclusion was only meant for Most anticipated game of 2020, if there is such a category.

Geoff said the games in the trailer are not indication of any presence at the show, which sort of feels like a soft deconfirmation.

Where do I sign?

I doubt we'll ever get that though, maybe a sequel in the future (which I prefer anyway). That combat system going to waste would be a shame and I'm not confident Elden Ring has enough of it, if anything.
Hopefully, what a beast of a game Sekiro is. Courtesy of SunhiLegend

Don't hope for a DLC guys. They are on Elden Ring. Sekiro is obviously awesome, but, I think, if we ever read about it again, it would be for a sequel

If Hamatani isn't credited in Elden Ring, then we're probably getting Sekiro 2. They wouldn't have a clear sequel bait, not put the game's co-director in Elden Ring and then ignore that franchise.

We may get a sekiro sequel or something else from Hamatani, and then whatever comes after Elden ring from the Elden ring team (Bloodborne 2 or some Sony exclusive maybe).

I appreciate Geoff and everything he does, TGAs is an incredible event and I've heard that he has put his own funds into making it happen. I am sure he tried his absolute best to get something for Elden Ring. If nothing is there, I will be disappointed but we're only about 6 months from E3 at this point.

Are you talking about the Dragon's Homecoming ending? Personally I didn't get a sequel vibe from it at all...

Yeah, not expecting ER to show up tonight. . . .. ah well. Hopefully we'll have it shown off at some point in the new year before e3. Guess this is a better time than any to replay BB to ease the wait

Really?
To me it was such an invitation to explore the Dragon's homeland, with a Journey to the West vibe and all. Could even be the start of a trilogy that ends up in India for the final game.

Not to mention the open ended stuff with Tomoe and Takeru that everyone thought would be explored in a DLC with the amount of teasing we got in the main game, but without a DLC it becomes more content for a sequel.

The Dragon comes from the west, and with it come all of the supernatural shit happening in Ashina, the game ends with them leaving to return the Dragon's spirit to where he belongs, meaning so much more supernatural stuff on their way.

While I'm not put off if it's an "old gen" game released in a "next gen" window because I'll be grabbing it on PC, if it were gonna be a 2021 release I'd appreciate if they took advantage of the next gen stuff to at least make the graphics as scalable as possible.

you think they could do a tomoe/takeru full game? I feel like FromSoft won't bother revisiting them if the sequel is Sekiro goes west.

On the other hand, I think the guy from the concept art looks incredible. For as similar as he is to prince lothric, I think the detail of his wears being made out of human skin and still having those features is excellent. Reminds me of kingdom death and is a style I hope to see permeated through the rest of the game.

Agreed. Fromsoft's art, and designs are in a league of their own. I can't wait to see more designs in Elden Ring. Many cool ideas they could implement with that world

I don't think a full game, but if I recall correctly, Kuro at some point mentions that Takeru came from the Divine Realm, didn't he? All they need to do is a slight retcon to just say "actually he comes from the west, too, he came to Japan with the Dragon in the Divine Realm", and you have a reason to either time travel to see him or to see his spirit or whatever.

where he said the inclusion of elden ring in the hype trailer was about 'telling a story'. I feel like at some point people completely lost hope that it'd be at TGA, and I'm wondering if I've missed something.
I think what he said is everything you see in the trailer he edited isn't meant to be a tease of what's at the show. For example World of Warcraft is in there, I don't think we will get anything related to WoW at the show.

Posted this in another TGA thread:
Geoff's latest twitter video make me more skeptical than ever that ER will be at TGA as he says games to be at TGA are not. Far as I can tell the biggest rumored games to be at TGA are ER, Batman, and BOTW2. This in addition to the rest of the signs, makes me highly doubt we'll see it tonight. But what the hell do I know.
