I'm assuming the world has to be pretty big for them to justify horse traversal. Roaming enemies feels like a given if they aren't aiming for complete barren atmospheric vibes like SotC. It doesn't sound like it from their press release " Danger and discovery lurk around every corner in FromSoftware's largest game to-date."

Uh,....ok? I have exactly watched zero videos of this guy, that's why I asked if he's a From fan. Can't expect me to know he at one point made videos like that. Also....i avoid RDR2 videos like the plague, since I've barely really started with it myself.
Tales of Arise though has been shown in gameplay form, albeit incredibly brief. Elden Ring we haven't seen a single gameplay bit of. But still, Arise is possible.
I am very much looking forward to Arise but please let this be Elden Ring.
I hope this is true. Most open world games have terrible level design, which is why Elden Ring's direction was very saddening.
I'm still deciding on how much of a media blackout I want to partake in. I indulged on Sekiro pre-release media and I feel like it spoiled a lot of the things in the game for me. I most probably won't be doing the same here, but I sure as hell want to read as many impressions as I can without spoiling anything.
The whole fact that we have George RR Martin and Miyazaki working together is just damn exciting in itself.
I mean that's on Bandai. If you're going dark for ER you best not use anything that has a screen once their marketing engine is firing on all cylinders. I loved the Dark Souls 3 trailers but goddamn they were spoilery.

I mean at the top of that same page it also mentions it as TBA...I dont use artstation so cant confirm but maybe they are forced to include a date if they want to include a game in the "productions" section.
Regardless, 2020 was already the most likely release date, but I'll agree that this makes it feel a bit more real

FROM made like 3 games in 7 years right so there has to be a side game they're working on which is not BB2 or Sekiro dlc. Maybe it really is this Armored Core.

That wouldn't make a bit of sense. Having the enemies have completely different combat mechanics depending on the character would be ridiculously hard to balance, especially in co-op.
