You know, that utterly cringeworthy thing in that good game that you wouldn't want anyone else to see. The thing you can't defend.

The collectible nudie cards that you got for having sex with women in The Witcher come to mind. I don't know wtf they were thinking with that; all it did was fuel the assumption that the game was an adolescent power fantasy for lonely nerds. An unfortunate black mark against that game, which was otherwise pretty good (if not as good as the sequels.)

Deus Ex Human Revolution. You're playing it, it's excellent, and then suddenly one of the most racist characters ever in a game pops up.

The little sea mermaid musical in Kingdom Hearts 2. That is the most cringeworthy stuff ever in a videogame imo, when peeps are at home i just mute my tv at that part.

Hopefully the Frozen world in Kingdom Hearts 3 handles it a bit well better....

I don't have too many issues with that as it fits the setting and theme of the game. I'm not really a fan of it myself but I see it fitting for that game.

I haven't played it myself but some of the Quiet scenes I saw from MGSV seemed very out of place and embarrassing as it was seemed like pure fan service on top of the character already being questionable with their attire.

About Gwynevere, the more cringeworthy thing was the popular player message right before it "huge chest ahead"... still chuckled!

I'm not afraid of the human body or sexuality and I'm not afraid of showing it to others.
That line of thought is quite rare where I live except in strict religious families.

I haven't played those yet but I would be bothered personally but not about showing it to others as they are quite the opposite of my own stance on those issues. And everyone I know knows how I feel about those things.

Final Fantasy XV, When the bros first find out about the attack on Insomnia at the start of the game, its all a bit melodrama-y. Everything else about the VA is fine, but those scenes are kind of cringe.

Super Princess Peach's theme is "she's a woman so she's emotional". I like how the emotion theme is applied to the enemies and bosses, but it's unfortunate that this is one of the only Nintendo platformers starring a woman.

I don't know if I'm ever playing a Hideo Kojima game after this. I'm cringing just thinking about it.

Edit. Actually every Kojima game regarding nudity jokes, fart jokes (I love fart jokes, like South Park fucking rules), Just everything trying to make anything comedic in these games. It just doesn't work.

Nothing except for J-pop in every single Jrpg. I hate it so much, I'll skip it if I can, I literally can't listen to it without becoming uncomfortable. It's so awkward.

Yeah sexually wise Quiet was the most weird one imo, i did not mind the other sexy mgs characters like eva, boss and sniper wolf etc since they atleast had a awesome or badass personality going for em.

The ass striptease like animation in the heli is the worst imo. Just why.....

Truly ashamed of your words and deeds Kojima :P hopefully Death Stranded cuts that kind of stuff out.

Not sure if it counts as content but I get embarrassed by the way SEGA is said when Puyo Puyo Tetris starts. If people are in my house or I have friends round I always mute it.

-This:

-Akiba's stomach problem scene and the proposal to Meryl scene.

-BatB screaming scenes after you finish them off.

Mega Man Legends 1 and 2. The games are 99.9% awesome, but both games have an optional scene where you can "accidentally" walk in on Roll changing (you can't actually see anything). That's not great, but after the scene Mega Man goes into a victory pose with triumphant music playing.

It's a gross "Congrats, you just peeped on a naked girl" moment that's completely out of place and out of time everywhere else (Mega Man isn't even shown to be interested inin Ro in any way besides being friends/family)

Some of the Bromides from Lunar 1 and 2 also come to mind. The idea of extra unlockable bonus images is a fun one, but some were definitely just for titillation.
