I started to go through this wonderful thread and started to post my preferences... until I realized that they aren't actually endings. They are the credits and not the actual ending of the game. After I tried to summarize if it's a bit weird to get teary eyed on a list of random names scrolling through the screen, I decided to post my pick here and see if there's anyone else that have had some sort of longer sighs and feels during the ending credits of any game?

Back in the day this ending credits sequence was already amazing. Just to see all the familiar tracks that you had spent hours and hours on grinding yourself to the 1st place of all the cups and engine classes... simply amazing when you combine it with an amazing uplifting, yet somehow emotional tune on the background. Nowadays when I look and listen to those credits they bring back so many memories from the golden age of gaming (my opinion) and my childhood where me and my friends spent hundreds of hours with this gem of a game.

Greatest ending credits theme to one of the greatest game this world has ever seen. Chrono Trigger is an amazing adventure and this beautiful track is a wonderful bookend to an epic quest. If I just run through the game to see one of the many endings, or take my time with it and complete it (as I do almost once a year) within a span of few months, this song always takes me back to the wonderful characters and locales of this game, even when I know it by heart and has completed it so many times I can't even remember.

You can argue if the dialogue counts to the actual ending credits but hey... they are included in the video which is titled "Final Fantasy IX - Credits" so I'll take it. Song itself is a real tear jerker but damn those lines that Zidane and Garnet are saying to each other before the staff credits start rolling in.
