The only option is to attempt to reward the community or at the very least placate them. In the end though the actual impact the "rebellion" has had isn't quite so extreme.

Since we're sharing Montys I'll share mine. Pelicano 's is tankier and a bit speedier, but mine isn't that far off from those stats. But it's all RNG -- I got really lucky with some effect resist rolls. On the other hand, my luck with speed gear is pretty terrible.

He enables any hard hitting character to do their job. Lilibet, Baiken, Luna...

Basically says "here, nuker with 98 speed, have an attack buff and jump straight to the front of the line". He's arguably the most universally good character in PVP outside of Carmin or Dizzy.

I have Aux Lots, I should get on building him.

Also, BBK after the buff is cool, since I had no one else with her star sign that needed the materials I max. awakened her and have all the Molas in her as well. I just really need to switch her gear from Lifesteal, she's sustaining fine without now anyway and I need to focus on attack or crit damage.
I suck at building units. :L

I keep refreshing reddit for the patch notes, but it's nothing but drama threads, I hope I don't have to stare at that for long.

Damn, Sigret works great with Dizzy debuffs. I just had one absolutely nuke me after their Dizzy applied her S3.

Patch is okay.

Mola refund is nice.
GW changes are good. No more cheese.
Most QoL changes are good. Not the most demanded features, but still good changes.

But then we get into the E7 mantra of "good change but..."

Guild chests buffed! But...week cooldown.
Energy from the Captain shop! But...THIRTY proofs.
GW shop opened! But...no hero like they stated.

Also no Lilibet buff.

Increasing guild buff from 8h to 12h is ace, but they could just make it so that it just auto-renews until the guild runs out of funds, it's not like we can spend the donated gold on anything else anyway!

Mola refund, opening of ch2 optional areas, GW finally actually starting. I'm good. And of course another currency because why not.

Why was reddit expecting Lilibet to be buffed though? She looks alright to me. I guess her s1 and s2 are kinda just there, but in the end she's a character with good stats that does something no one else can. I'm fine with having specialist types like her.

That's exactly why, her s1 and s2 are just kind of "there".

Nothing synergises with her s3. Which seems strange because it's her main selling point. S1 has a little synergy with s2 because of the cannot be buffed, but bleeds on s2? Really? Yes it makes sense because she'll be going full dps but it'll be atk/crit dmg, not full on atk. And 4 stacks at 50% each is just so.. lackluster. Especially considering you won't have any effectiveness on her.

That new artifact though... gonna be hard to one shot baal and ara now, even if the team doesnt have c armin... dunno how I feel about that. Oh wait I do, it's bullshit.

They've released so many counters already to cleave teams/nukers, and even nerfed sez/wr, so this just feels like beating a dead horse at this point.. I guess it's good for the people who don't have c armin?

E: Actually an interesting thing with that artifact is that it seems to work on debuffs? Could be an interesting counter on somewhat squish dps to ml ara bullshit.

Well I don't have C.Armin so yeah, it could be nice to have a fighting chance again. Giving up Uberius' Tooth would suck but I've watched stream archives of someone doing 24k+ damage AOE to everyone on my team on the first attack without a def break. With a Judge Kise wearing an immunity set, so there was another AOE even after that.

Currently on a 6 or 7 loss streak in arena, can't beat anyone anymore. A.lots getting his S2 every turn from the Luluca artifact, people with 4k attack and 350% crit damage, literally unkillable c.armin bullshit. One in 95 players might actually still be running a cleave team but whoops they're 280 speed, survive 12k counterattacks and do enough damage to kill you 4 times before you get a turn. I don't know how much of this is my bad luck with gear or everyone else just botting hunts 24/7.

It's not like anyone actually expected a buff this week, since SG has made it abundantly clear that mystic packs are the new hotness. It's just tiresome to get yet more confirmation that they don't care at all about non-ML 5*s or F2P players whatsoever.

Such a shitty attitude towards the players and an even shittier business model.

Let me have a random ass guess at her kit:

s1: AoE attack with stun + lifesteal
s2: Everytime ML Ravi takes an action, every enemy unit loses 20% CR (30% with Molas)
s3: AoE Extinction + Un-buffable.

I can see it happening.

The amount of PVP matches I lost today simply because they had a 5* ML unit is unreal. My entire team just got swept by a single ML Aramintha after I wiped out the rest of their team with no casualties

It sucks that I've gotten to the point where if I dont have one I'm shit out of luck. Their kits are so, so unnecessarily busted

I think I'm doing something wrong in W11. Alexa isn't benefitting from defense break because the wyvern always moves between Karin applying the def break and Alexa's turn, so the def break is always gone when Alexa moves, unless it's a shield phase.

Is my Alexa too slow? I thought the only requirement is to have my defense breaker be faster than my damage dealer, but is there more to it?

Unless they are very close in speed you can't really stop this from happening over the course of the battle; it's a consequence of 1 turn debuffs. Of course, if you made them too close then it's possible that Alexa would even go first sometimes due to CR RNG, so I wouldn't worry about it unless it's causing you to lose.

This is why Taranor Guard is often recommended as a def breaker, because he gets a chance to apply it with no cooldown.

Hm yeah, I tried bumping up Alexa's speed a little to follow Karin more closely and while it worked, the clear was slower overall thanks to crappy test gear. I'll have to upgrade another set of boots if I want to stick to this. Not sure if that's worth it.

I did use TG before, but I was more interested in building Karin. She and Alexa were split around 50/50 in damage before.

Luna, Dizzy, Aux Lots, C.Armin?

Aux Lots is for cleave teams. C.Armin is for tank teams. For A.Lots, you'd be gearing him as fast as possible and pairing him with a very high damage AOE unit (or ST DPS, but you'd need more than one). Other slots would be filled with whatever else you feel like you need, like units with speed imprint (Helga, Schuri, etc.) or skill reset (Iseria). Also never put A.Lots on defense if your team is designed around CR boosting a cleaver, because his AI won't use that skill on the first turn.

A defense team with Dizzy, Angie, and C.Armin would be a very good start though, you'd just need a DPS unit.

Just realized. A AoE unhealable unit, or even "2 units" like G. Purg or two would be good. That's not fire Aramintha even though I like her.
